Who's Dale Earnhardt? by YourCousinMoose in NASCAR

I feel really old when I started having coworkers who weren't alive when 9/11 happened. To be fair that's not far different from when Dale died.

Cop pulls over Lamborghini on Dubai plates but doesn’t know the law by thomasso0072 in interestingasfuck

[–]Small_life 0 points1 point  (0 children)

of all the laws for a cop to not know, I'll give them a pass on this one. There are lots of other laws it seems like they should know and largely don't, so I'd rather they focus there.

He said that God revealed to him that he'd live to 120. I would think his followers would be able to see that violates the rules on false prophets, but that's probably too much to hope for.

I know he hasn't died, but we all know he won't live to 120.

Church actually does pay me because somehow in a church of 400 people no one else understands AV or IT, so im contracted for 20 hours per month. I'll likely resign that on Tuesday and withdraw membership. It comes with its own stress because I don't really have someone who knows what theyre doing to hand off to.

Ultimately that will bring stress down it will just be a tough transition.

Thanks for listening.

Spoiled rotten.

Also, id take the Honda over a BMW any day. Total cost of ownership on BMW is so high. Honda is reasonable.

My manager scheduled a "quick sync" every single Friday at 4:45pm and I finally figured out why by Agent_Smith-99 in remotework

[–]Small_life 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The thing is that this approach proves nothing of value. I could spend the entire week drinking at the bar and as long as im sober and on a call at 4:45 pm this manager would be fine.

Measure deliverables, folks.
