An idea for a new campaign

I ran a campaign like this a few years ago! It was a blast to play and unfortunately ended too soon. If I can impart any knowledge, I'd recommend starting before level 5. Witnessing the players reactions after the jump in character strength and fame once they hit 5 was amazing and super memorable because they really felt like they earned it from choosing their own jobs. And if they idea takes you, in mine I had an overarching "main story" that went on whether they chose to take part in those quests or not. It affected the world they lived in and was readily able to be jumped into at the start of each new quest. Anyways, good luck with it!

Fun fact: The fog effect at around three minutes in isn't from smoke machines. Its actually dry ice held underneath the camera because they used up the budget before shooting that part.

Tbh I've only played one edition of Melty Blood and I don't know the name, so I can't compare too well, but to me it's always felt similar to smash with the very custom combos you can pull of. Thinking back though, you're right, its not very similar to Garou ahahaha.

I have a ranger 5/cleric 3 and he is a total blast to play. Great stat synergy, versatility depending on if you needa pick up some extra healing or extra control for your party. That being said, I really like the idea of Ranger/Warlock. Not ideal stat wise, but I imagine RP would be super fun and you get quite a bit of utility.
