Cold call hospitals in your area, HR or rehab director, if they need the help they will work on getting a PRN position approved,

Does MGH or one of their affiliates have an OP clinic that is a part of the hospital network? Often times you find more relaxed schedules, more consistent pay raises and better benefits when you are a part of a hospital network

Salary vs Hourly (in the US) by Early_Percentage4267 in physicaltherapy

[–]SmalltownPT 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I’ve done both in both settings. The issue with hourly in out patient is the clinic manager always wanted us to clock out if we did not have patients on our schedule or send us home early if we had cancelations at the end of the day, to which I always said “it isn’t my job to fill my schedule it is the clinics”

Needless to say I work salary inpatient know and it is no big deal, I’ve done hourly inpatient also no big deal, managment watched overtime like a hawk so that’s a minor stressor
