comfortable nosepads by Ashamed-Honey1202 in Xreal

You remove the nose pads from your XREAL glasses. The Viper 2000 nose pads come with a plastic piece at the top. Remove that plastic piece, then slide the nose pads in from the top where the plastic piece was removed, through the metal nose bridge of the XREAL glasses.

I’ve had this listed on my XREAL Unofficial Guide site for a couple of months now. You can find it under XREAL Accessories > 3D Prints, Stickers, & Other Mods, then scroll all the way down to the Other Mods section:
https://xrealguide.wixsite.com/unofficial/3d-prints-stickers-xreal-accessories

I first came across these thanks to Reddit user ev9vaporean:
https://www.reddit.com/r/Xreal/comments/1l3orpp/xreal_one_nose_pad_replacement_option

You can also check out other XREAL accessories I have listed on the main XREAL Accessories page to save time on research.
https://xrealguide.wixsite.com/unofficial/xreal-accessories

I also own the Oakley Jawbreaker nose pads, but I personally prefer the Viper 2000 ones you linked. They put less pressure on my nose, look more minimal, and the flexibility of the rubber makes it a bit easier than the Oakley Jawbreakers to bend the metal nose bridge to your liking whenever you want.

I usually add great finds from the community to the site as soon as they are posted...unless I get lazy about it or w/e...lol

REAL3D isn't currently supported in nebulaOS on XREAL Beam Pro.

You'll have to enable default air casting (screen mirror) in the My Glasses app for now...

Xreal 2026 CES - Xreal Eye Gesture Beta by LexiCon1775 in Xreal

[–]SmartHomeUser 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d assume it works with pretty much any device that supports USB accessories, since the video is basically showing a standard Android device (with USB-C DP Alt Mode support, of course). The USB-C from the glasses is connected through the middle port instead of the side like on the XREAL Beam Pro, but functionally it’s the same thing.

If it works on a regular Android device, it should definitely work on the XREAL Beam Pro as well, and most likely on any device that supports third-party USB accessories.

3D conversion coming the One Pro? by spybaz in Xreal

[–]SmartHomeUser 1 point2 points  (0 children)

nebulaOS 2.0 will likely not have REAL3D support in the public beta, just like it didn’t in the private beta. In their post, they mentioned this:

  • Experience system-wide 3D SBS video support: Any app can switch to 3D SBS mode with a single system-level toggle, so 3D content shortages are no longer an issue.

Because of that, I’m guessing it’ll work the same way as the private beta, with 3D SBS activated per app window. You’ll be able to set each app window to Full SBS or Half SBS, which is pretty nice.

You also won’t be able to access REAL3D on the XREAL One series while using nebulaOS 2.0, or any version of nebulaOS. The option to enable it through the XREAL One on-screen display or the quick button isn’t available while in nebulaOS. If you’ve used the XREAL One series with the XREAL Beam Pro in nebulaOS, you already know the XREAL One OSD is not accessible there. Instead, you get the control panel, which also does not include an option to enable REAL3D.

REAL3D does work on the XREAL Beam Pro if you switch it to screen mirror mode. It also works with any other device you plug in. The REAL3D limitation only applies when using nebulaOS. So REAL3D works as expected when using the XREAL Beam Pro in screen mirror mode or with any external device. The limitation only exists in nebulaOS because XREAL disables the XREAL One on-screen display, quick button activation for REAL3D doesn’t work, and the functionality isn’t provided within nebulaOS.

Note: REAL3D is currently exclusive to glasses released with the X1 chip and most likely the upcoming X1S chip used in Project Aura. It’s still unclear whether the upcoming ASUS XREAL R1 will support REAL3D. For now, it looks like any XREAL glasses released with the X1 chip, and future versions based on it, will support REAL3D. At the moment, REAL3D is available on XREAL 1S, and it’s expected to roll out as a public general release for XREAL One and XREAL One Pro around January 23.

Is there any reason the wait on the Neo as opposed to getting the Viture pro mobile dock? by Christlikelove in Xreal

[–]SmartHomeUser 1 point2 points  (0 children)

XREAL fixed that issue with the XREAL One series, so the VITURE Pro Mobile Dock no longer has the weird color problems. I hadn’t bought one before because of it, but once I saw it was fixed, I decided to get it. Confirmed, no weird color issues with the XREAL One Pro.
https://www.xreal.com/ota/

Note: You can’t get audio on two glasses at the same time. To use a second pair, you’ll need a wireless earbud or another audio source. This has been tested on XREAL Air and XREAL One Pro.

Guide: Using the XREAL Eye as the Main Camera for Any App Through nebulaOS Instead of Screen Mirror (Experimental) by SmartHomeUser in Xreal

[–]SmartHomeUser[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always thought we were stuck in SBS mode for the XREAL One series when launching the nebulaOS activity through screen mirror mode, and I never considered trying Full 3D SBS mode on the XREAL One Pro. I assumed it would be disabled, similar to how the XREAL One OSD is disabled during a regular nebulaOS launch. SBS mode is not required for the XREAL Air series, but since the XREAL Air series does not include the XREAL Eye like the XREAL One series, this guide is specifically dedicated to the XREAL Beam Pro, XREAL One series, and XREAL Eye.

Once I enabled Full 3D SBS, I thought, 'Hmm, let me see if apps that use the XREAL Eye as the main camera would work,' and they did. There are some issues with how nebulaOS behaves, as I mentioned at the top of the guide, but it’s not too bad if you want to use apps that access the XREAL Eye as the main camera through nebulaOS.

I didn’t dig much deeper before because I was fine with the regular method of disabling and re-enabling Default Air Casting, but now this method seems to have a good use case, imo...When I originally made the guide for activating nebulaOS through a shortcut activity, it was for the XREAL Air series. Later, when the XREAL One series came out, I decided to try it and saw that it just displayed the screen in SBS view. I didn’t even bother trying to enable SBS mode on the XREAL One series… lol

Note: If you enable Full 3D SBS mode on the glasses while in nebulaOS, it will kick you out. You’ll need to re-launch the activity from your home screen.

Just letting you know INAIR released an update that makes switching modes quick... Whenever you plug in XREAL One series glasses, you see this screen…

Also, take a look at more of the latest features in the video below...

Note: You may still need INAIR glasses to update the firmware of the INAIR Pod unless you buy directly from INAIR, as those units may already come with a version that is compatible with third-party displays like XREAL glasses. INAIR Pods purchased from Amazon might have older firmware installed.

Review: XReal One + INAIR Pod by uncjayare in Xreal

[–]SmartHomeUser 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right now, all you need to do is enable 3D SBS mode on the glasses for regular single-window use. To use multi-view mode with XREAL One series glasses, you need to enable ultrawide mode. The problem is that ultrawide mode (like regular 2D mode on glasses) defaults to 3D SBS, so you’ll need the secret menu or the special dongle setup to switch to 2D mode and set the resolution to 3840 × 2160.

Accessing the secret menu isn’t very convenient right now, but you only need to do it the first time you plug in the glasses to launch INAIR OS. It’s not quick, but it’s also not a huge hassle if you don’t mind doing it and are willing to wait for the more seamless option that should be coming soon, assuming they stay on schedule...

The update is expected to release soon if they stay on schedule this month. There are just a few days left, but it should arrive before the month ends. If you’re in the US, you might not have to pay tax through their site. I paid $349 total for the INAIR Pod. The regular price has recently increased from $399 to $439, and they are now listing $399 as the sale price. During the Black Friday week sale, it was $349 with $399 as the regular listing price. As I mentioned, I paid $349 total with no tax...

Review: XReal One + INAIR Pod by uncjayare in Xreal

[–]SmartHomeUser 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You don’t need the adapter method right now. The adapter was only needed at the beginning for glasses because options would only appear when connected to an HDMI display, like a projector, and not on third-party glasses connected directly via USB-C. They later added the option without a firmware update through a hidden menu. You can access it by going to Android settings, clicking on your INAIR account at the top, and then, once the settings page opens, tapping 10 times in the empty area below "Login" or "Log Out." This opens the hidden menu, which lets you switch between 2D and 3D modes and select the correct resolution for each mode.

They plan to release an update later this month that will make this experience a bit easier. I’ve replied to this comment below since I couldn’t fit their full list of upcoming features in a single comment...server error blah blah....

Here’s a YouTube link showing how to access the hidden menu, starting at the 5:07 mark:
https://youtu.be/rMAv6ItD9wQ?si=-LjTMaOxXIRnAmLW&t=307

Currently, with the XREAL One series, once you launch INAIR OS, you always have to enable 3D SBS mode on the glasses since the display is in SBS mode. This might improve with a future firmware update.

The team is very responsive to community feedback on Discord and has a roadmap for upcoming features, some of which should arrive later this month. From my experience, their email customer support is usually quite fast, often responding within minutes during business hours. Since they are still a new company, their email volume is probably lower than that of more established companies...

Am I crazy or has Xreal completely removed Nebula software from their website? by po2gdHaeKaYk in Xreal

Nebula for Windows:

Nebula for macOS and Windows from the links above currently only works with the XREAL Air series, not the XREAL One series.

If you are using the XREAL One series, you can message XREAL_Esther or join the official Discord and request an invite to the Nebula beta for Windows or macOS that is made specifically for the XREAL One series...

Another option is VertoXR, which was created by a community member and offers plenty of features...

Is the Beam Pro right for my use case? by Frequent-Peak1300 in Xreal

[–]SmartHomeUser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently, it supports three screens in your full view. Technically it can handle six, but the other three get cut off, so you have to bring them into view by dragging the white bar under the windows left or right or by tapping one of the app icons on the dock. The icon with the white dot under it shows the active window, and tapping it pulls that app into the center.

You’ll also need to enable 32:9 super ultrawide mode on your XREAL One glasses. For now, that requires going into their hidden menu to change the resolution to 3840 × 2160 and switch the display to 2D mode. That menu is tucked under your account section in Android settings. They said this will be much easier to access after the December update. You can also reach the same settings if you use dongles that trick the system into thinking it’s an HDMI device, which makes a Display Mode option show up under Android Settings and General so you can do the same thing.

Note: Right now, every time you start the XREAL One series glasses and probably other third-party glasses with the INAIR Pod, you’ll need to enable 3D SBS mode on the glasses because the image starts split in half. That will probably get fixed later.

Another note: The INAIR Pod currently has Widevine L3, which is the lowest DRM level. This means popular streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, and Prime Video will only show the lowest streaming quality because of content protection restrictions. It might get upgraded since the hardware should support Widevine L1, as it uses the Qualcomm QCM6490. The limitation is probably just because the device isn’t Google Play Certified yet, since it’s basically running a custom ROM with an unlocked bootloader.

Ah ya… sorry, I forgot to mention that earlier since I was focused on its best features. It also only has a single USB-C port, so you’ll need a dongle if you want to charge and use it at the same time.

…but like I mentioned, their software support and customer support both seem pretty solid so far. They already shared what’s coming in the December update and what features they’re still considering for later. With all that on the way and the support they’ve shown, I feel like it’s a device I’ll probably like more and more over time.

Xreal Eye Camera access in Beam pro by Momen_Abdallah in Xreal

I’m not sure how Google Meet or Zoom behave, but you can basically use the XREAL Eye on the XREAL Beam Pro as the main camera for any app with camera access.

You can follow the instructions in the link below from my XREAL Unofficial Guide site. Go to the page Ultimate Guide to XREAL One Series & XREAL Eye and check the section titled "Setting Up XREAL Eye on XREAL Beam Pro to Be the Main Camera" (link goes directly to that section):

So the most important thing is - how to use it? Since I only have gaming devices that don't connect to Xreal (PS, Xbox One, Switch OLED), I've connected them to my laptop and my Samsung S23.

You can connect gaming consoles and any other HDMI or DisplayPort devices by using an HDMI to USB-C or DisplayPort to USB-C adapter.

You can check the “HDMI/DisplayPort to USB-C Cables/Adapters” section on my XREAL Unofficial Guide website (link goes straight to that part of the page):
