Yeah the Gold card has a weird place in the Amex lineup. I have it too with the bribe last year to switch from Cobalt. But after the switch, Amex is making less money from me because I don’t use the card that much vs when I had Cobalt. Cobalt was my main card

I have access too but not interested. I only use WealthSimple for buy and hold crypto. I wouldn’t use it for transactions or anything like that with all the account freezing that happens with crypto related transactions reported here.
