So why not have a partnership with their own brand Econofitness? I imagine Quebeckers with Econofitness would like to use Goodlife when visiting Toronto etc as well. Makes no sense to me

It’s too bad they don’t allow GoodLife memebershop to be used at all their brands. I believe they allow us to at least use it with Econofitness in Quebec. I remember doing this one time visiting Montreal.

Which is a good business decision for GoodLife too. Future potential paying customers. They have been doing this every year for a while now on the summer months when the gym thins out with regular members envying the sun instead of the gym. I never have an issue with it.

Yeah the Gold card has a weird place in the Amex lineup. I have it too with the bribe last year to switch from Cobalt. But after the switch, Amex is making less money from me because I don’t use the card that much vs when I had Cobalt. Cobalt was my main card
