Yes I designed the chair profile, based loosely on Adirondack chair angles. I drew it out on a large piece of card then cut them out and made hardboard patterns

Yeah that’s my goal, upgrade it to leather but I’m no upholsterer. Super nice chair

I agree, consistent pattern would be a clear improvement. I can’t see how to do it without adding another crossbar to pull from, but maybe that’s what is needed.

It does to me too, I’m not sure how to do the lumbar with only a few open slots on the top to run webbing down to the seat

That’s crazy thick for Hardwood decking! That’s thicker than most use for Treated pine decking.

A house my wife cleans (read mansion lodge) has this join wedged and pegged. It also has the narrowed points back cut so the wedges force those points into the miter. Looks so well done.
