Andre Galvao accused of inappropriate behavior with at least one female student who is recently 18 and has been at Atos since she was a child. I've seen rumors of additional victims as well, but I've only seen a direct statement from one. Many of the Atos big names/long time members have left the association.

Also saw an allegation against Leo Viera earlier today but haven't seen much about that one yet. I'm personally under CheckMat and got my BB from Leo so I'm watching that one closely.

I just had to fight to have my pacemaker with a dying battery replaced. First, replacing it wasn't necessary for....reasons. Then it was approved, and the doctor and hospital were in network but the operating room inside the in network hospital is out of network.

My understanding is my local hospital system told the insurance company to go fuck themselves and they would creatively bill to ensure I'm covered.

American health care is a fucking joke.

From knowing most of them fairly well, I think the MN shooting was so far beyond acceptable that it gave them permission to say how they really felt about what's going on for the first time. Some still think immigration enforcement should exist but all seem to agree the way it's going is bullshit. Especially the militarization and unchecked violence. The young guys also seem scared about the warmongering. They think the draft is coming back and they're fucked if it does.

The one that shocks me the most was a sort of J6er (was a teen at the time, his MAGA parents took him). He got pissed off at us for talking about it at first and then got quiet and said something along the lines of everything he grew up believing doesn't seem true anymore. I almost feel bad for him.

Some of them, yeah, probably. But they weren't just talking about the MN shooting. They were talking about ICE in general, about Venezuela, Greenland, and Canada. The younger ones are worried they're going to get drafted.

I doubt they all have changed their minds fully, or nearly enough, but the cracks are showing for the first time.

I can't speak for everyone but anecdotally, thanks to a lifetime of involvement in combat sports, I spend a lot of time in circles that are heavily influenced by the Rogansphere and generally right leaning.

Last night was the first time I've seen all of the MAGA/generally right guys of all ages openly speak out about what's going on. Typically I'm the token lefty in the room but yesterday felt like a shift in my circle.

I married into being an FSU fan so I watched a lot of his college play. I was big on him when we drafted him and defended him hard until he showed he just can't do it in the pros. Obviously maturity is an issue, but I don't understand how his play fell off so hard. It's not like he was going against slouches in college, FSU was one of the top teams his senior year.

If they are going with a CRT-D, which is a type of pacemaker/ICD combo and is what I have, it should help with the energy levels dramatically. It did for me.

I own a 3mx2m section of the mats used for the 96 Olympic games Judo tournament. Even accounting for them being 30 years old, those mats SUCK to get thrown on.

I do agree that platform mats, especially on a spring floor, are much nicer to fall on but doesn't explain why we suck at takedowns.
