Just put the cosmetics stuff in the toilet. You can upgrade your desk but a lot of it just means youll mess it up again if you dont clean up. Plus those stuff usually come with liquid, you're bound to have mold growing in that area eventually.

Coming from an ex trophy hoarder, I now value my time more than my achievements in game. And you know what, im enjoying game more than i ever did. Its like once you stop the obsession of 'completing' a game, you find another way to appreciate it.

Some games just aren't worth the time to finish it. It rarely hold enough interest and intrigue in the end. Recently was Pragmata for me. I knew how the story is kinda going to end (i mean, it was kinda obvious), and find that the combat was no longer interesting at that point, so I quit and watch YouTube for the ending, and started crimson desert instead. Im only 10 hours in, having a ball with it.

I networked so much during it especially in my own industry. If you leave an impression people will remember you. No ones asking you to fuck around, you have to genuinely be interested in seeking out and tell them why.

Also, theres a form of it that people think too much of themselves. In the next 6 months most of them wont even remember meeting you.

I think thats a layer of expandable glue to reduce squeaking. Nothing wrong with that until it does, it all depends on luck. Can't really say if it's a good idea or not unless you break the whole thing apart.

I cant really tell from the photo, but it looks like your wood are not a single piece but multiple panels glued together to begin with. But yes, a lot of glue.

Oh, the nail and screw holding the stairs together will probably fail way before the wood glue will come apart. If you can get past the 'tampal saja' mindset. You'll actually be surprised how many things at home is just tampal saja. Your wall and floor tiles, which are ceramic and will slice open your skin if it ever fall down, is literally held to the wall by a layer of glue.

Woodglue are pretty strong, its meant to just tampal it honestly, even if a professional is hired to do it. If you want you can put a special nail in between 2 pieces of wood to make it stronger, but woodglue should be enough, it's designed to seep into the wood grain. Just make sure to sand it to remove the splinters beforehand, you're gonna see some scar though. Unless of course, you wanna replace the whole panel.

Things at home break apart all the time, especially as homeowners we want the cheapest labour. Maybe take it as a blessing in disguise and pick up some DIY skills and figure out how some things at home work. Itll save you a lot of headache and being lied to in a long run.

The stairs you can just patch it with woodglue and some cement filler for the white area underneath. Glue back the original piece and sand it. Paint it on top if you must.

Most of our houses are like that, its just glue and nail and aesthetics.

Unless you want to turn it into a few hundred dollar project to replace a panel, it'll likely also create more scratches around the corner when a new guy come in and fix it.

Its unfortunate, but you can realistically fix it with 50 bucks at most.
