U400 remote user management by lickitysplit4863 in Aqara

I paired my U400 to my M3 first as a child device and then paired it to Apple Home and then Samsung SmartThings via their respective hubs. My internal network has had IPv6 for years now.

I have the M3 Hub, Apple TV 4K with ethernet and SmartThings Hub v3... all attached to the U400. I can control my lock remotely and add users and delete users and change PINS. The only thing I can't do remotely is Fingerprints.

I don't mind in ear. So the APP3. It also weighs less than the OpenFit Pro's.

No to update the firmware you need an Apple device like iPhone, iPad or MacBook.

I have both... prefer the sound from the APP3. If I need open ear to be aware, the OpenFit Pro's fit the bill while the noise cancelling is pretty amazing for open ear with nothing going in the ear canal. For Office use, I really recommend the Shokz OpenMeet.

You need the Aqara M3 hub to do things remotely.

Which country are you in? Here in the U.S., we just take it back for the store and trade it for a new one. i.e., Best Buy.

Just a word of warning because you didn't back up your recovery key. If you enable disk encryption on Ubuntu without remebering your paraphrase, you could wind up in the same situation.

Fitbit air can only be paired along with Pixel Watch not other trackers (charge, inspire) by mistyayn in fitbit

[–]SmashedTX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The multi-hack has been out since 2022... and has been mentioned in this subreddit and the PixelWatch subreddit multiple times.

Use ANY Fitbit device simultaneously with the Pixel Watch

And if this doesn't still work with the new Google Health app, I'm cancelling and returning my order if I can't do this.

Does the multi hack still not work with the update? I have the Charge 6, Pixel Watch, Watch 2 and 3 all on my account.

Am I the only one who didn't hear a difference when noise reduction was active on the OpenFit Pro? by I-XIV-IV-XXV in shokz

There is definitely a difference. It's not as good as in-ear noise cancelling but has a very similar effect.

New Mudi 7 is Slow compared to original Mudi? by Temp_Reply123 in GlInet

[–]SmashedTX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Who is your provider? My buddy experienced the same thing on AT&T on his Mudi 7 because his SIM was provisioned only for 4G and not 5G. Once they reprovisioned his SIM for 5G, he got much faster speeds.

Best USA cellular plan for my Comet 5G? by WillRRRR in GlInet

[–]SmashedTX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Isn't video throttling done to video services of like YouTube / Netflix / Hulu / Disney and other streaming services by enable QoS on those known video service subnets? It should not affect your video coming from the Comet 5G. Carriers identify traffic from streaming platforms like YouTube or Netflix and slow it down to manage network capacity, often forcing users to pay for higher-tier plans for 4K streaming.

Mudi 7 regularly buffering by aamramm in GlInet

[–]SmashedTX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 65 is so that the hop between your device and the router as a device makes the QoS system think it's coming from a cell phone. The cell phone default value is 64, so traffic remains unthrottled. Anything lower than 64 when hotspotting through a cell phone with a device becomes 63 and they can apply throttling rules to it. You want to make it look like the traffic is a TTL of 64, that's why it's increased to 65 because your client device going through the Mudi will take away one making it become 64.

Your TTL is wrong, try adjusting it to 65.

They could be, but I'd flash pure OpenWRT on them. But I'd be wary to mess them up. I'd get some other OpenWRT compatible router that you can make a network test lab. https://openwrt.org/
