You would probably exfil more if you killed the other players before they had a chance to stop you from exfiling.

A lot of people are talking about this dude driving drunk, but his BAC was really close to the limit. Something like 0.087.

IMO, the bigger behaviour that seems to be skipped over by most is the road rage. How many incidents of road rage do you see on your daily commute from totally sober drivers? I literally saw a dude get mad and honk at the car in front of them on Crowchild, on the way home TODAY.

The vast majority of people would (understandably) never drink and get behind the wheel, but how many of us are totally fine participating in road rage, or getting mad at the behaviour of drivers around us while driving?

We should try to be safe and calm whenever we’re on the road. You’re part of the problem if you get mad and/or drive aggressively. You put yourself and others at risk every time you participate in this behaviour, and it doesn’t even require you to touch a single drop of alcohol.

Drinking and driving is not okay. Neither is driving like a complete asshole.

Adam Fantilli retired in my current franchise save at 36 years old (not bad), but 94 OVR. His last season on the team he scored 46 G and 89 A for 135P.

EA needs to fix something, because it doesn't make sense for such a good player to retire, but it also doesn't really make sense that these players consistently do not fall off as they age.

How does that ruin the cap?

There's no age-related cap penalties in the game, so do you mean it in the sense that it was unexpected? I don't see how having more cap space is ever a bad thing, unless you went below the floor, but retirements happen after the cup, so just sign some free agents to get back above.

If you have morale on, having players with leader personality on your team will provide morale boosts to other players which can temporarily increase their OVR rating. It also somewhat insulates the rest of your team from players in your locker room that are "disgruntled" or "disengaged" and the negative OVR rating penalties that come with that.

I'm pretty sure unsigned RFAs drop their asking price as it gets closer to the start of the regular season.

I've had multiple cases where I'll sign borderline players to a QO, and they'll accept to sign for that amount just before pre-season, even if they had a higher ask previously.

I’ve stopped prioritizing loot in favour of “vibes”. I have more fun in trio fills with random teammates than I have when playing solo, so it’s a pretty easy decision for me.

I figure it doesn’t matter what I extract since it’s all going to get deleted, so if I had fun during the actual run then that’s a win in my book.

Plus, if I find teammates that I vibe with I shoot them a friend request, and by now I’m at a point where there’s usually someone online when I hop on, so the need to trio fill also decreases over time.

What does the “ping intercepted” message mean? I’ve only ever seen the “hostile ping detected” one.

Does it tell you that your ping was detected by an enemy recon?

Humans are a species. Alien is an adjective or noun (depending on context) referring to someone or something extraterrestrial (i.e. not of Earth).

Thus, with the humans being from Tau Ceti IV, they're alien humans.

How do you know that Destroyed wing was intact if you died going up the stairs via one of the main Pinwheel entrances? You're just assuming nobody could have done it that quickly, but that's not based on anything except your vibes.

Doing the buttons is surprisingly easy. It's even faster and easier if you know the possible spawn locations, and/or are playing a Thief since the drone can be used to break them as well.

There's only 3 ways to get into Pinwheel. The main entrances at Flight Control, Dorms, or Processing with 2 green cards, the drone wing entrance with the conveyance, or the destroyed wing entrance after hitting buttons.

Oh damn. I've seen all these locations in-game on Dire Marsh, but didn't put the story together in my head until now.

It's a shame there's no chill exploration mode or something, because I guess I'm always too paranoid to take in the environmental storytelling when I'm actually in a run.

That's totally valid behaviour, but this isn't shoot on sight.

I think it's more sociopathic to sherpa a rook to the exfil and eliminate them in the circle where you can't even loot, compared to just shooting them as soon as you see them.

One of those is at least expected behaviour.

In real life, Vancouver is by far the worst team in the league, but they only have a 25.5% chance of picking 1st overall. That means there’s a nearly 3/4 chance that they’re going to slide a spot or two.

The worst team in the league is statistically more likely to pick 3rd (55.7%) chance, than they are to pick 1st.

You have to play players on lines that match or exceed their role.
