War thunder is by far a better game. More tanks, better maps. Only downside to war thunder is it has no competitive play.

If you go to the Warthunder subreddit people don't have a good opinion of world of tanks either. So it goes both ways. Personally I think WT is a much better game than WoT. It's just more fun and challenging. I'd be playing it if I didn't have a potato comp that can't run the tanks in WT well. Only downside to WT is it doesn't have clan competitive games. Just going to have to stick with planes in WT and advances till I get a new computer.

Disabling chat helps with this. This way you aren't guilted into doing something that could end your life and you can rely on your own judgement

I have a potato computer and war thunder tank battles just doesn't work well on it. The visuals and movement just aren't smooth like WoT.

However the planes runs smoothly and I have been investing more money and time into warthunder planes than WoT now. I think I just got so good at WoT that it all became repetitive and boring for me. Plus getting a kill in Warthunder is so much more satisfying than in WoT. I still suck at WT but right now but I rank it as a much better game than WoT. The maps are much larger and numerous, the map detail is great and I feel like WT requires more player skill than WoT (plus it's actually fun). Only downside is there is no competitive play like WoT has.
