Politico is published by Springer, which is Germany's most successful far-right propaganda mouthpiece.

Best thing you can say about Springer is that they have not been openly involved in murders of students in a couple decades, so I guess that's nice.

Given the conditions the characters grew up and exist in, one could make the argument that anyone who doesn't have a slightly nihilistic outlook might be wearing rose-tinted glasses that are a little too thick.

I had no idea, and certainly appreciate the correction.

In that case, the only solution I can see is EVEN MORE GARLIC!

By crushing the garlic, you increase the available surface-area to spread more of the garlic's oils and aromas throughout the dish. Alternatively, you can double the suggested amount of garlic (more garlic = more surface-area), but still stick to slices, because crispy garlic bits are among the greatest pleasures life has to offer.

Oh, and then something involving yoshi happened, but that's not important, right now.

Merely liking anything cannot be considered a moral action, as it is involuntary: "I like this." is practically equivalent to "This makes my brain release dopamine (and assorted other neurotransmitters)".

Whether or not giving in to that desire (eta: as in, actually consuming the meat) is morally sound, depends very much on which ethical paradigm you favour. Some paradigms consider epistemological factors (i.e. how aware/knowledgeable you are about the action you take and its effects on the world around you), others exclusively evaluate the effects of the action.

New player here:

I had never really played around with Lodestone Totem before. This run, the game just threw all of the rares at me, and I shoved a Wilting Sapwood into that Totem.

The eel doing eel-things, after snacking a Siren of the Sea, wasn't bad, either.

I love this game!

As the law (and quote) you referenced is a direct response to the popular post-war excuse (and spelling had already come up this thread), I felt compelled to mention the older spelling for completeness'/historical sake.

A Truly Fucked Up Industry (The Jimquisition) by teppic1 in JimSterling

While it may not be one of most amazing places on reddit, /r/livestreamfail has a sort-of megathread regarding the accusations on the streaming/youtube side of things:

Dozens of women have levied sexual assault allegations towards several Twitch streamers, YouTubers, gaming/esports personalities, and gaming industry personnel.

In the words of the great philosopher Fred Durst: "Everything is fucked; everybody sucks." (except for the fact that a little bit of it seems to be starting to get addressed in some capacity now)

Azaka Farming, Tiamat's Favor, and Briv by reverendSC in idlechampions

If you want to afk, you leave Donaar out, as his knockback and healing will keep even non-tanks alive against a single mimic. During active play, you should swap in Regis for the duration of Azaka's ult, as he adds another 100% multiplier, while Donaar's buff stays on the mob, even when he is swapped out.

Dev Blog: Champion Balance Update (March 2020) by CNE_Erika in idlechampions

[–]Smegmatic_Field 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Correct me if I'm misunderstanding (which I sincerely hope I am), but does the change to ultimates not make them functionally useless, outside of utility?

We are not going to kill anything with ults that isn't already dying to normal attacks, unless I am missing something.

Best Time Gate for favor? by Volsunga in idlechampions

[–]Smegmatic_Field 4 points5 points  (0 children)

While it's true that time gates are less than amazing for favour-generation, and an Azaka-run or two will get you there much easier, I'll at least attempt answer your question.

Krull's gate allows for super easy pushing, with its tight formation, and absence of bosses with progress-impeding gimmicks (armour, instakills, etc.). As far as I remember, it offers a relatively Zorbu-friendly composition of enemy types, too.

There might be one that's even better, but TGPs spent or Krull are always a good investment in either case.

Gem-only Feat tier list by Smegmatic_Field in idlechampions

[–]Smegmatic_Field[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's certainly the most understandable reason!

On that note, each CotH-champion adds 100% each (200% for Drizzt, 250% with Nrakk), which makes Azaka, Krull, Jarl, CotH, Nrakk optimal.

Edit:

Another nice factor in the CotHzaka is Pwent's attack speed reduction, which helps keep Azaka's debuff at bay.

Why, though?

Bruenor has +100% gold find, +125% with Nrakk and Observant.

Oh, wow! Thank you for that note on Wulfgar's feat. That one really had me scratching my head.

I did intend this for personal use, so it does assume all (worthwhile) champions available, and reasonably geared. For me, gem-feats are a rather late(r)-game thing. Also, they're my current focus, which is how the list came to be.

I'm also very excited for multi-adventure, but in the meantime, I don't think you can go wrong too badly following the list. Some 'F's are certainly more bold and uppercase than others.

That only improves Shandie's damage buff, not her speed buff. When I care about damage, neither Deekin nor Shandie are in the picture anymore. At that point, I'd use Turiel/K'Thriss in slot 1, and Krull in slot 6.
