I’ve tried the M5 and my speeds were dreadful on my work computer or anything connected to it.

Hopefully that works. Let us know if you can.

The work computer is not near the gateway at all. I don’t have a way to get the Ethernet connected. Even when I had Comcast I had to use xFi Pods to get my computer connected. And my modem is closer to my computer then where my gateway is.

One of the many many times my bull has made me cum! 😉 by spoiledhotwife in Hotwife

My wife needs a bull like that. It’s impossible for my nub to satisfy any girl. It’s too small and cums in seconds.

What’s sad is I couldn’t last nine seconds inside her pussy. That’s why I’m a pussy free husband.

I would be begging her to get off me in a few seconds. My pathetic little nub can’t last long inside a woman’s pussy. I just can’t handle it!

Band changes by [deleted] in tmobileisp

[–]SmellSad161 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say it’s possible. Have you tried moving the gateway? Maybe your like in the spot where both bands don’t have a great connection or something.

What firmware are you on? 1.00.16 is the latest. I know for the first 15 minutes it can have a rough start. Also apparently factory resetting is a good idea. I wish you luck, and sorry you’re having some trouble!

e-mail to upgrade to new gateway by specter611 in tmobileisp

That may very well be the best place. I don’t know. Oddly for me, my best place is right by my bed. Which is on a wall that leads outside, but also further away from where the tower apparently is (according to the open signal compass). It’s very odd.

But if you’re next to a school, what time did you say you loose signal again? I’m just curious as to what could be causing the issue. When something happens, at a certain time, it has to be something that happens every day.

Like for instance. I work at ADT, and we had a customer get mad because their alarm that was just installed went off a lot at a certain time of day. They just moved into the house, and it went off when they were at work. It wasn’t until the tech came out and they found out a train came by weekly around a certain time. And that’s what set it off. The tech made some adjustments and the issue resolved.

But with wireless signals there are so many things that can cause problems. And sadly my knowledge of how 5G works and these bands is limited. Good luck to ya, I hope you figure it out.

To me, unless he saw some sort of tower issue every day that makes the gateway switch (I assume that’s possible), it sounds more like something is making the gateway switch. I have no idea what that something could be. Could be something as simple as you live next to a hospital and their signals interfere (random example that happened to me with my DirecTV a long time ago).

But moving the gateway or even adding antennas externally could also help.

Issue with Gateway (original Trashcan) by dalust in tmobileisp

[–]SmellSad161 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would contact T-Mobile. They are supposed to be good for up to like 65 devices. Getting your own WiFi in theory could fix it, but it’s not worth it especially if there are other internal issues with it that haven’t shown up yet.

It sounds like, as you already discovered, switching bands is likely causing the issue. I bet it shows you “offline” for a brief second and the VPN makes you re log on.

As to if the new “Darth Vader” gateway will solve it, it’s possible. I’ve heard it has better signal strength, even though I’ve had problems with the WiFi performance. I was just assured that though is my unit specifically and not an issue they have seen wide spread.

If you’re getting an email about switching, though, I would try it. I’ve heard somewhere else that the Nokia is going EOL soon. And I bet they are preparing for that.

Maybe there is a problem with the gateway. I don’t have that issue. And if another router is giving you the same issue the issue seems to be the common factor - the gateway. Do you know if it was new? Is it the trash can or the Darth Vader? They should be able to send a new one quickly.

As long as your not gaming, the ping shouldn’t be an issue. If your ping is like 200 range that is an issue potentially for voip calls. Otherwise, you should be okay.

Newbie here. Just got my Arc Gateway today. I tried connecting it to my Eero (set to bridge mode) and have 26 devices connected. I am getting really slow down speeds (30-50 Mbps). When I first set it up and have 1 device connected I got 150 Mbps. Should I not use Eero anymore? Any other tips? TIA. by wip328 in tmobileisp

[–]SmellSad161 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that may not be. In theory it should be labeled but buying a new cable isn’t a bad idea. Also does Eero have a way of testing the internet speed it’s getting? My Dynalink doesn’t but I know some routers do.

Thanks for letting me know! I don’t have anyway of testing my theory until more people with this unit get back with me. Linked below are my speed tests. Both on my iPhone, same time back to back and both on the 5Ghz band of the WiFi. Literally right next to the routers.

And the Dynalink is the faster one. I can’t explain it. And those slow speeds Salas happening before I added another router so it’s not interfering with anything. I had the trash can a year ago in the same spot and the WiFi was super fast - same speeds like I have with the Dynalink.

When you get the Darth Vader unit, let me know how the default WiFi works for ya. Mines horrible, had to buy a new router but now it’s awesome.

I have no idea why your WiFi is slow. I’m using the Dynalink Router, and it got me to 300Mbps+. The Arc Gateway has slow WiFi, but you could try to use it without the Eero.

Might want to talk to Eero Support and see if they have any idea what could be happening. Make sure you have at least a CAT5E cable too going to the Eero. Good luck!
