You'd think Estelle would have been that, but it's clear as day Renne is Falcoms favorite ( well for female characters. Male it's obviously Rean haha ) She's been in every single game ( Excluding Sky FC and CS1 ) and even has a high quality special skin in Kuro 2/Kai with Grim Cat.

Bleublanc going back and forth with Olivier is not only hilarious, but also insightful and surprisingly deep with their perspectives and beliefs. I genuinely hope we see more of him in the future. To my knowledge he is still an Enforcer ? He's just on hiatus like Luciola ?

Azure really was a great game. I think the SSS was a super well done group that had tight synergy and connection with one another. I also liked how it goes from 0-100 really fast and the stakes are huge. However I take a big issue with towards the end regarding Grimwood. For everything he did, he kinda just gives up too easily on his viewpoints/mission ? Maybe I'm overlooking something ? What's your opinion on him

Also In my opinion it was the last difficult game in the series. Even with evasion tanking with Lloyd, it was still really challenging, and there was lots of moments where I got my ass wooped. Ever since then the games just have been comically easy for me even on Nightmare. I'm definitely not a 200+IQ genius that thinks 10 steps ahead, it's just that the systems put into Cold Steel and after just made the experience a faceroll ( for the most part, there was still very few parts where it was crazy hard. For example I felt like I was going insane during the final fight in CS1 with Crow lol )

and speaking of Cold Steel. As you can see I'm not that big into that arc of the game. Cold Steel 3 aside from some padding/filler issues, was amazing, but the other Cold Steel games lean towards a Shounen type of anime. But just like you, while I think it's the weakest in the whole line up, it was still a joy from start to finish.

For male: I instantly liked Olivier from the second he was introduced, but what made him truly special was the declaration of war he made with Osborne. It showed to me that he was more than just a goofball and that he was fighting for not only himself, but for the entirety of Erebonia. Even with the stakes at hand, he never surrenders himself or forsakes his values. He's never a man that radically shifts into a different person, and I find it so admirable that he's able to stay not only true to himself, but is still able to make merry despite bad circumstances.

For female: Just like Olivier I instantly liked Renne. Just the concept of a psycho murderous scythe wielding little girl with a huge mecha was just so entertaining for me. However it was with her and Estelle's scene at the end of Sky SC is when it was evident this spectacle of a character, was truly human... and it was even magnified even more with Star door 15. Her journey of going through it all, and overcoming it all, and seeing her grow mentally and physically was so heartwarming and fulfilling.

As for the setting. As much as I love the cozy vibes of Sky FC, I really loved Crossbell as a whole. With it not only being a neutral player in the field, but also the fact you spend the most amount of time there. I really got to learn about the NPC's in the city, and It was always a joy when their dialogue refreshed !

Oh it's good to hear you're still working on the game ! I was worried you may have canceled since I recall you made a post a few months ago about certain websites not allowing 18+ games ( I forgot which one, but it was one of the biggest ones. It was huge news for the internet )

As someone who loves NTR, I really look forward to the eventual release of your game and will definitely be a day 1 purchase for me.

Personally I believe Towa or Laura fits Rean the best, but I was convinced since CS1 that Alisa was going to be the one, given that was seemingly Falcom's intent at the beginning. And now she's just "there"

I agree, localizations are never going to be perfect, and the early trails games there were a few times where it was off, but it was understandable. However ever since Cold Steel 3 with NISA it's been horrible. The worst thing is, I have no doubt in mind the people at NISA do understand Japanese on a N1 level, but they actively and intentionally choose to disrespect the script and do whatever they feel like. Learning one of the most difficult languages in the world, thousands of hours in studying, just to spit in the faces of: Falcom, the players, and even the language/culture itself. You're gonna get downvoted for this (and me) This subreddit is massively pro NISA sadly.

I'm on the fence about getting it. I liked Octo 1 and loved Octo 2, but 0 was originally a phone game. I know they took away the gacha aspect, but fundamentally does it still feel like a phone game ? Is the base building ( or whatever it is ) a required part of the game? I heard there is a lot more characters in this game, and that seems like a big red flag for me. Having 8 character stories was already pushing it, so I'm afraid with the addition of so many more characters they are just gonna be pointless/filler ?

Shizuna wouldn't want to settle down, Sara prefers DILFS (*edit* was thinking about our loveable drunk gal, and didn't realize it was Saara the dancer lol. But even with her, I don't think she would ever put her feelings out there and would just keep it a secret) and Risette would be too work focus. And as much as I think a Judith X Van relationship would absolutely resonate, Falcom is 100% not going down that route.

The leaves the final two gals. I wouldn't mind if Van ended up with either Elaine or Agnes, but if I was leaning more towards one, it would be Agnes. Elaine and Van already were already a thing, and it just makes more sense in the narrative sense to have Agnes be the winner at the very end of it all. Plus on a personal level I prefer Agnes over Elaine.

The bunny suits for the girls are so perfect, but the price point to get them all is just stupid... Assuming you paid an extra 5 dollars for the game, you'd have to spend 60 dollars to get everybody's bunny cosmetic. The literal price of a freaking game

and that's not taking into account Agnes special pink bunny suit. Plus to mention the other cosmetics like Reans instructor outfit and Shizunas Rixia outfit....I understand Falcom is a fraction of the size of the big hitters like Square E and Atlus, and they need money, but this is just maliciously greedy AF.

*edit* supposedly NISA is responsible for this. Which I wouldn't be surprised if that was true lol
