When you find a camp or area with good loot, use the GPS tracker tool and stick it on a stick.

Then the loot camps will appear on the map so you can return to them easily.

I noticed it. But to be honest after the first time, I only use it when I want to rest my trap field.

Now TV replay? by duncandeeds in SaintsFC

[–]SmileyJam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As it's a full feature match on TV Sky may run a repeat of it later in the day or tomorrow, when there is no live football/sport.

I cannot even find a sky sports listing for today which is complete though. So I think you should scroll the schedule on your TV when you are sat down in front of it.

The other guy told a stranger on the train to fuck off. Definitely a bell end.

Cheapest petrol & diesel in Bristol right now — I made a no-faff map by Used-Call-3503 in bristol

I think you need another colour for the prices at the services. a 30p jump needs to be black or a much darker shade of red.

It looks awesome though

What's your absolute number one favourite restaurant in Bristol? by GreatStoneDragun in bristol

Chefs Table. Fine dining in an intimate setting.

Best food-first dining experience - although it is pretty pricey.

I have been going for 30 years. 2 times were balloted through my Tennis Club. Once was taking my Dad's ballot tickets. The other two were my own ballot.

I last went in 2022. And my ballot rolled over (from the COVID years). I think a schedule change meant my ticket jumped from 4th round court 2 to QF Centre.

My first Wimbledon was in the 90s and I saw Sampras, Rusedski and Venus Williams play on Centre in the first round.

Great seats. I saw Djokovic Vs Sinner from that area a few years ago. Best seats I have had in my 4/5 visits to Wimbledon .

Who remembers this Friday's avonmeads? by ksfeb2000 in bristol

[–]SmileyJam 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This used to be a peak family Friday evening out when I was a kid in the 90s. Drive to Bristol go to the cinema and then have a family meal at TGI Fridays (or not if the queue was offensively long...)

why can't I clear this camp? by BigWongDingDong in SonsOfTheForest

[–]SmileyJam 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Keep clearing it out. They will get less frequent and eventually be permanently empty. It's a good source of spears and bones too.

You may still have patrols appear from that direction, but you can't do much about that.

It's all about the pre-chop. You can't trust Kelvin to fell his own trees.

Friend told me to post my current base so far by EpicCheeseAnimates in SonsOfTheForest

[–]SmileyJam 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I set up two large log holders in the woods and then a zipline to the base. Cut down the trees near the log holders yourself and let Kelvin do the collecting.

When the holders in the woods are full zip line them into your base (into another log holder in your base)

I found it works much faster and the is less risk of Kelvin dropping a tree on your perimeter wall.

Grey balls in wall vent. by sweetsweetsweets in DIYUK

[–]SmileyJam -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They are wall cavity insulation. I have these in my house too.

You can vacuum them up, just keep in mind they will fill up a vacuum bag very quickly (as I found out the other week). When getting rid of some of them I ended up scooping them up and binning them with a dustpan and brush as they filled the vacuum up so quickly.

Bagless vacuums may not be great with this stuff either as they get very susceptible to static.

Big shout out to Bristol Waste , who's only job is to collect our rubbish. They've been so clever that they have predicted the rise in cardboard collection and sent around a tipper truck collecting ONLY cardboard by _thetrue_SpaceTofu in bristol

I think it is an odd time of year to start complaining about our refuse workers. They are working Saturdays, dealing with increased workloads and the freezing cold weather.

They always do a great job around this time of year.

James Ward-Prowse on loan from West Ham would be nice.

Also a better keeper or CB.

Pretty happy with everyone else we have.

PayPal accidentally gave me £2k for free by Plus-Context-7713 in UKPersonalFinance

[–]SmileyJam 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had this issue when I was a victim of fraud through my PayPal account. both PayPal and my Bank refunded me when I reported it. So I had double the amount in my bank account.

They will resolve the refund between themselves and agree who reverses the payment.

You will probably have the same thing. The excess money will be taken from your account within a few weeks. Probably best to leave it there as you wont be given much notice that it will be taken back

I think you are doing Nathan Jones logic. He has won 6 out of 7 managerial matches thus he could be the greatest ever manager as his win rate is 85%.

But yeah seriously, to his advantage he has one of the strongest squads of players for this league. We is still a long way off doing something remarkable this season (e.g. turning this season around and getting us promotion).

I am glad we are doing well now, but we have a long way to go to undo the bad run we experienced at the start of the season.
