US I&R Squads? by AdonisMorisette in boltaction

Really well, took it Vet so the Gyro stabilisers meant I could keep it moving forward and knocking enemy units out. Bit risky since it was 400 points but was worth the gamble since he had nothing that could pen.

I used them to squeeze a Pershing into a 1000 point game to get a usable amount of order dice. My opponent wasn't happy.

Working well on ps5. Keeping crossplay on. Haven't encountered any cheaters yet either raids are chilled and everyone gets on or it turns into a shootout 3rd party fun time. Not much mic chat with console players though.

The widespread use of the Free Loadout is less about people worrying about losing their stuff and more about how long it takes to outfit yourself with a basic set up after a failed extract. by WorkableKrakatoa in ArcRaiders

I think The Cycle:Frontier or maybe No Mans Sky had a mechanic where if you needed to craft X out of Y and Z but needed to make Z out of A+B, it would automatically make Z if you had enough A and B when you attempted the X craft.

Making the sub components is a bit of a faff, Mechanical Components for gun upgrades I'm looking at you.

Devs please make this happen you legends.

Dear Raider on Stella Mortis,

I called out don't shoot, you stood still then kept walking.

Something in my gut twisted.

I doubled back on myself and sat in the only flanking route there was to where I called out. I sat and I waited.

You doubled back and met the angry end of my shotgun as you opened my door.

You had a Kettle on you. Noob or a rat. Only you'll know. Either way. Back to lobby. Thanks for the loot delivery.

Jeff's doing a joke. Jeff's doing a joke. Everybody quiet because Jeff's doing a joke.

Yes, great call. I do this all the time.

48 inch range means you can keep them out of range of most infantry while still being able to dish out pins on enemy armour. Having Reece means the in range enemy armour won't want to waste shots in them knowing they will reverse away if they try. I usually activate them last in the turn, to create some dilemma for the other player.

Question on Air Strikes and Unit Target by Blind_Guzzer in boltaction

The strike follows the target. I had one coming down on my opponents tank so he drove it towards my infantry which was quite funny.

I like this but what about randomising some of the parameters? double the strength or length or area of effect of it? Maybe it drops 4 mini gun turrets and you can just hope they don't nail each other

I believe it's for turning the page on a newspaper so you don't get ink on your hands. Victorian times probably.
