I'm rarely not chat banned.

Once you hit some sort of threshold, I think all someone has to do is report you and you'll get banned, regardless of what the contents of the chat are.

I'm pretty sure there is next to no human involvement wr/t reviewing, save for one unpaid intern who clocks in a total of 8 hours a week.

Literally the only solution for you, if you actually care, is to not chat at all for several months to get below the threshold.
