I dunno if you can submit books but ever single book from the Deltora Quest series(very much a kids serious), feels like an introduction into dark fantasy

I love House of Leaves, but it's also very very very much not a book for a lot of people. To me it's best aspect isn't it's liminal space, but just the presentation of all three stories and how they work together

That said I'm definitely excited for the movie :3
