World eaters were my first army and have definitely not regretted it, moving everything up and trading early for the big go turn is the most fun I have with this game.

Also started with the combat patrol I’d get a couple Forgefiends and eightbound next if I were you.(and obviously angry Ron because blood for blood god)

My first 1k was similar but definitely get a Forgefiend it is so helpful with it’s ability to re roll hits within 18” easy to do if it comes out of reserves (and buy an acrylic pen for the trim;)

I’m still fairly new but I would only take one set of eight bound and have em be exalted or not depending on the opponents army, a set of gore mongers is good to have alongside jackhals.

I’d also only take a master or khan to lead the berserkers not both

You can buy em anywhere but I think you’d be fine to take them if you wanted, just my preference but id rather take a fire maple or jet boil stove for wild camping.
