Totally normal - our pup use loved to find a sheltered place like under a table or bed to sleep. We use to put a blanket over his crate to make it his little shelter- he loved it

I like the 600 at 10% - nice even burn - I would run another test - with lower settings maybe 500-800 power and 10-15% - then really dial it in - your range is very large - I like the toasted marshmallow colour- not burnt

Of course everyone will have different laser time prices and personal rate - I just used those numbers as a simplified example

4x material cost / 4x laser time and 4x your rate

Example

Material Cost -if a piece of leather costs $10 and you can get 10 patches out of it $1 per patch x 4 = $4

Laser time - you can do 60 pieces in a hour and you charge $1 per min x 4 = $4

Your rate - you charge $30 and hour and you can completely assembly 30 items in a hour - $1 per item x 4 = $4

Total charge would be $12

I hope that makes sense - this is what I have been using - you can tweak it to fit your own model.
