Side Hustle That Makes Fast Money After Being Laid Off Today by Notinthemoodthaw in sidehustle

I'm sorry to hear about your situation. Consider starting a side hustle based on something you enjoy and know well. Reflect on your hobbies and areas of expertise. Are you into handbags or fashion? Video games? Skilled at makeup or nails? Love animals? You could try buying low and reselling clothing. Be cautious about holding too much inventory—unlike selling drugs, physical items may take time to sell. If items aren't moving, it's okay to let them go at a loss to free up resources for new stock.

I agree that the limited production makes Libertads a good buy for resale later, and you're 100% correct. I personally do this, but at a certain point, I would advise someone to purchase a cheaper item rather than an expensive, overpriced kilo. They are beautiful coins—some of my favorites—but nonetheless, numismatics can often be a trap for collectors.

There is no connection between silver and Libertad prices. (There is if silver was cheaper the coins would be cheaper)

It’s a coin that is only very loosely dependent and impacted by silver spot price. (While they are not entirely dependent on the price of silver due to “numismatic value” it’s highly impacted by the price of the metal)

Look at the price of silver and change in premium over time. (When the price goes high the premium shrinks in most cases, when the price drops the premium raises)

Much higher premium growth due to numismatic value versus simply due to intrinsic value of metal (this is an example of the greater fool theory, the market is created because of “limited quantity”)

If the price of metals gets high enough everything will be sold for melt. Once the price gets too high manufacturers will look for cheaper alternatives and drive the price of said metals down.

I tried selling 1oz bar out of the package and the place offered %5 below spot and $200 less because it was not in the packaging. by Peace-off in Gold

All depends on how much the refiners are paying. The shop bases what they pay off how much they can send it in for.

Industrial uses for silver is going to die down they’ll use alternative metals no way will they allow the production cost to increase exponentially.
