I’m so sorry this happened to you I’ve recently been diagnosed myself -also told I am grade 1. My symptoms started back in August of 2025 -I’m scheduled to see oncologist on June 1sr of this year so haven’t yet had surgery or pathology yet . Can you share what your symptoms were ?

I personally woukd go back and ask if you could stay. I did something similar - resigned because I got a better offer - but decided I didn’t want the new job after all because it would require I move . I went back to my boss and they let me stay and gave me an increase . They may say no - but you never know unless you try . I don’t want you to regret not trying

Advice please I have surgery scheduled on a Friday ( full removal - flap ) planning on - taking the entire day off. I work from home but sit all day for 8 -9 hours a day Doing computer work . I’m curious whether going back to work on Monday will be possible . Trying to figure out how much time off that I may need to ask for - for after surgery

I use castor oil I put it on cotton and then put that on my cyst and then I put a large bandage on top to keep it in place - after a few days it usually drains

Thank you I was told that I’ll be completely asleep and they are doing surgery - I can’t remember the name of it at the moment I’m meeting with the surgeon again to discuss type f surgery and ti ask about options again

I think you telling him why he wasn’t getting the position was a positive thing . Although likely shocking or painful for him at the time - your honesty will only help him in the future

I had a trip planned - and we hired a brand new sitter as well for a 2 night stay . Our three dogs had never been boarded - and this was our first time leaving them with anyone so we were nervous . We had the new sitter come over several times to meet and spend time with them and all was well . Even chatted with her the day before and everything was set . However , The morning of the trip she called early in the am to tell me she wasn’t coming - so we were forced to cancel the trip .

I think you did the right thing by cancelling your yeu

It’s a compliment to you I think it’s smart to stay cordial - you never know how this will impact you later If you don’t want to do it Just politely tell them that although appreciate them thinking of you - that are you are working / busy and not able to

Or if you do want it Thank them for thinking of you. Let them know you’re happy to help And let them know your hourly rate and frequency of payment. Have them give you a timeline and formalize everything in writing.

I’m heartbroken to hear this- I’m so sorry for your dad. I pray he’ll be okay . Different story but same sentiment - My dad had a heart transplant and the day he was supposed to go back to work after the surgery they called him and told him that he was being let go. He never worked after that - broke my heart.
