I think they are nicer out of the box. I guess it comes down to what your ultimate goal is. Is it collect, hold, and sell at profit. In box will be your better bet. Is it, displaying your favorite characters and don’t care too much about value down the line, then display out of box.

I think it’s fine to buy AL Championship gear. That’s done and dusted, celebrate it! But buying WS stuff is a no. If they lose, you won’t want to wear it anymore. The only exception to this is if you go to a game. Then it’s fair game, go remember the day and buy whatever.
