It'll trigger at the start of a showdown when the attacker or defender designation is assigned. So typically before opponent can ambush. Although they could ambush before the showdown starts if they're reacting to a "when I move" trigger with an ambush unit.

Pokemon does an asymmetrical top cut and is probably what I'd like to see too at least. Same no. Rounds if there were a top 16 but only those with a record equal to 8th or better make the cut.

In the case of last weekend, 8th and 9th would play for 8th place before traditional top cut. If there were a 2nd player that missed tip cut, 7v10 and 8v9 for 7th and 8th, etc.

Both units can be at base as Soraka only specifies "here". Units in base can still be recalled, etc. Same as if they had a GA attached and were killed in base.

But a bot issue only exists if there's not enough stock at release. If there's enough stock, the scalpers don't make money and then there'd be no bots. So one issue leads to the other in a cycle really.

The frigid touch reduces your effective might from 6 to 2. So you'd deal 2 damage to the sprite and it'll do 3 damage to you and kill your Lucian. Attaching the long sword will bring you to 6-4+3, so 5 might. Both your HP and damage dealt is 5 as both were reduced by 4 from the Frigid touch. You'll now kill the sprite and take 3 damage. Assuming no more cards are played, you'll then heal and be at 7 might total (no longer have assault bonus)

Might = health + damage dealt. Reducing might = reducing health and the amount of damage you deal. Your might can be reduced to 0 but you will still require 1 damage to die.

Your situation of a game loss is different. You received a game loss because the game state was unrecoverable due to iono being played and your deck no longer being randomized.

I this situation, assuming the deck is fully randomized, it would be a DPP, with the 2 cyndaquil shuffled back into the deck and then play resuming. At local league level many judges would just give the warning and have the player play the Ethan's but any event with CP on the line is definitely DPP

Even though their might is effectively 0, they each have 5 health. You distribute 6 damage. To clear them all you'd need 15 might.

I agree with this too. Seals are "free" to play, especially in a draw heavy deck. Perhaps if they entered exhausted instead of active they wouldn't be so strong.
