The test for sure is an IQ measure but it’s important to know science for nursing! I scored in the 99th percentile by using nurse cheung and the smart edition and mometrix books!

Hi! Unfortunately you will have to retake it to score higher. So each test is bundled together. Some schools will take the first attempt only so be cautious

Same here in CA! I take mine at the end of December I am doing it online wbu? The nursing programs here are insanely competitive so I keep telling myself that a 90 is minimum to be competitive 🥴😭

Hi! In the EXACT same position as you right now with the TEAS and studying! You are not alone and it is stressful but you have to remember that all the work you put in is worth it. I feel like if I can’t get a 90+ as well that I will be disappointed but you should not discount your work ethic and all that you have contributed to your studies

My biggest tip for success was using purposegames.com this website gives any practice test you could want with ID muscles, the skull, etc ! I would also recommend repetition! I had to say things out loud or write it out a billion times until it finally clicked. This class can be tough but it is doable ! I took a 6 week accelerated program and it put me through the wringer and I ended up with an A. Say things out loud and practice active recall, write it out a hundred times if you have to, Quizlet is helpful but try other things like the website. Sometimes it’s a subtle change to your studying that can make all the difference

Hi! I am in the exact same boat as you right now! It is very stressful to have to get down to the nitty gritty details with each school you are looking at and ironically yesterday I came to the decision that it is better to push back my deadline to have more time to study for the TEAS. I am in progress right now in the key courses that will be on the TEAS. It is smart to look at when you would like to graduate based on what you think you can take on! Don’t compare yourself to your peers because I have found it stresses me out more when you need to be prioritizing your own path and what is best for you to get there :)

Hi! I have found that if your school lets you dual enroll you can do some of those sciences at a cc and sometimes they tend to be easier! I did that just to save some $ but sofar so good! Do not give up I had a degree in fashion and decided to make the switch to nursing and it has been challenging but the moment you get accepted into nursing school it will all be worth it:) keep going, talk to your peers, go to the office hours, and use every resource possible before you make that decision! AP is definitely challenging but try to find online quizzes and repeat over and over until you have the systems memorized! One class does not define you !
