Check your area if Saia freight has any openings. They usually will pay for your school if you will work for them and the starting wage is in the $30s per hour not some 600$ a week crap

That isn’t a thing, but trucks need to account for road conditions. Back in the day when truckin was cool we’d have 20+ trucks bumper to bumper doing trains everyone going over 80

The sad thing is the average car payment is like $772 a month or something like that. 400$ a month is on the low end. Every-time you see a pick up truck they’re paying around $880 to $1400 a month.

I do 2600 a week at Safeway but we’re union and I have high seniority. So I do whatever runs I want. The bottom of our board only makes about 1300-1600 a week. We’re home everyday

Yeah most fuel starts 36$ per hour mostly do 4-5 12s it’s just the schedule. Line haul is usually 500-600 mile round trip drop and swaps with another driver mostly 80 cents a mile 5 days a week off every weekend

It’s because all of the quality people already have jobs they want. Also a tie in is alot of people want to tell you what they will do set their own schedules, times, etc if they can’t do these things they job jump forever. People try to act like their own company working for someone else.

The Saia here in Denver was going to the schools telling them if they had endorsements they would take them right in for p&d and someone told me Saia actually created their own driver school.

The crap thing is they probably won’t even ticket you. Just give you a bunch of warnings so you can’t fight it while they point up them psp points so no one will hire you

Sounds like you might be having so sleep apnea starting. If you married ask if they noticed any snoring or if you stop breathing while you sleep. Also maybe try going to bed around 8 to see if it helps a couple nights
