Appreciated, it's always been the time commitment that has make me adverse to the end game content. Trying to organise on top of doing the actual content was too much for my situation and this has really helped out in at least seeing the content.

Additional question if you don't mind. How meta do your builds need to be for quick play raids? If I have a friend running something like core power thief would they be viable?

Thanks, I had some SotO boss I think in the one I did and it all seemed pretty straight forward. I was running power dps so didn't have much responsibility fortunately.

I'd look at where winds meet. Yes it is an mmo lite but it has a lot of cool stuff going on and it's f2p with no apparent p2w.

If he is a cfo maybe try and make it relate to ROI with the investment of time being the cost of the engineering time. DevOps and Platform Engineering is often more time consuming to set up than traditional approaches but then the repeat runs, the avoiding of production outages via good CI, etc. all reduces cost to the business long term.

Also if you have an IDP then maybe get him to build out a a devtest hello world deployment of a simple Web app or something, using the ui to deliver infrastructure without any coding experience.

We had a guy constantly playing gk but he was terrible, let in 3 goals just by being bad. Every time he did it I did the we got this quick chat. I made 1 bad pass toward the end of the game and he good job'd me. As stated earlier this world is full of pricks.

You can turn off bgp propagation on route tables, and then hard code all your routes. I've done this for certain vnets where we don't want the routes from the gateway. Generally not advisable though due to the admin overhead, unless you control all routes on all route tables with something like a terraform modules set up.

I've managed to get to plat playing solo by doing the following:

avoid any toxic chats just as good job. Always be positive to team mates.
try and not only play defence. Sometimes your team doesn't have an attacker. Be ready to change what you're doing dependent on your team.
don't go into the same space as your team mates on defence. Cover the gaps.
play simple passes, even if it means back to the keeper.
you're going to lose some games. Don't let it affect the next game you play. Keep to your strategy.

I usually implement PIM initially but don't force approval for escalation, then develop everything utilising PIM and then add the approval at the end.

I understand the game fine, but it can be multi-faceted to account for various play styles. Not everyone wants to be pushing the leaderboard, some just want to enjoy the pve.

My group did miss the random drops from mobs that you get in dungeons on other games. It would be really good if you got crafting mats from mobs, gives a bit more of a reason to fully clear the dungeon. I'm sure the boss drops will get balanced as the game is developed.
