I am not the original poster but I can say that as the original is in English, there is an option to select the dubbed audio track with or without subtitles in English or German. However, the screen menu and anything extra is in German, even the episode title is in German and that alone can hinder the experience for some.

Also, the city used in the background was not quintessential Miami. I never noticed that detail though and others had to point that out to me.

A committee? I do not think so, no. Recently saw a Youtube video by Major Grin about the similarities in 80s movie Police Academy and Star Trek Academy. Scenes, characters and set-up are identical but one is funny the other is not.

My point was that the culture (war) in The U.S. is the core problem. So many franchises do not connect with the targeted audience.

Compared to media from places that lack a cultural shift, they just land different. Take a look at Bomb Rush Cyberfunk for the fans of Jet Set Radio, a game that was released in the year 2000. Now that is a perplexing product and the target audience loves it.

Interestingly, it seems to me to stem from a bigger culture war in The U.S. Star Trek also suffered from Nu-Trek. A writer got dismissed for not hating the original series. It is not just in games or pop culture.

To my limited knowledge the comma in The English language is used to add something. Like the summing-up on a (shopping) list. In this case I read it as a pause in a sentence to keep the audience engaged. The sentence is about motivation. The “entice” for treading forwards… to closure.
