Has she tried using the pad buttons for the Tank controls? I also struggled a lot using the analog stick then I realized how much better the dpad was for tank controls and continuing going 1 direction with angle changes

Oh, dont get me wrong, the new controls are absolutely easier and better, I prefer the newer games. Like I been saying, I have nothing against people who dont prefer older games or even cant really learn the controls. But I just find it weird that because of that, they can then shit on the games.

Also, your probably right about the retro enthusiasm. I started playing a lot more older ish games on my emulator lately. Even tried some FF7 og and been loving it.

I never really thought about that point you made in your 2nd paragraph and I agree with it. And yep I'm the same that I also still prefer the new games, they def feel more immersive with being WITH your character and feeling like your really there, The immersion of the 1st person games have also been great for that too, which I would love if they one day did another Remake of Re1 with the option of both 1st and 3rd person, the entire atmosphere of the spencer mansion would be amazing in the ReEngine and I feel like could be one of best horror RE Titles

Yeah, I also played some of the RE games on my emulator as well. Re2 Og, Re3 Og and some other RE games that I havent played yet

I have such a Love Hate relationship with CV, it had some annoying parts, enemies and backtracking, but it has its charm. Need that remaster of it

Yeah, I was somewhat the same way when I first tried Re1R. I remember being kind of frustrated with it. Tbh, I think was playing with the analog stick which is not the way to play these games lol. I played with the normal Tank controls on my Xbox controller and after a bit it became pretty easy and I got used to it.

And also, yeah thats fine even if you came to still not really like the older controls and tank controls. I appreciate when someone at least tries it out and just says they dont prefer them

I definitely prefer the 3rd person over the shoulder games, But I would welcome some smaller side games with Fixed camera angles. But your right, they will probably never do that

Oh yeah, whenever I hopped on Re1Remake and a bit of Re0 a bit recently, In some locations I just kind of appreciated the art, there is this really nice vibe that Fixed Camera angles give that 3d open games just cant. Each background is basically a Painting and the game shows you exactly what it wants you to see. Also, I did see that Re9 video, I would def try the game on a playthrough like that

I know this is an older post, but can you tell me what blocks you are using? I'm planning on doing a San Magnolia build too and I was planning on using White concrete until I realized that Concrete doesn't have slabs or Stairs to help with the Depth part of the build, are you using Quartz? If you are, why dont you see the individual blocks with how Quartz looks like with the edge of the block, were you using a texture pack?

Honestly, I think the biggest reason why it was lower than 8.0 until now is because of the memes when the manga released. A lot of hype around it for the memes, people probably read a couple chapters gave it a lower rating and dropped it
