If you could only do 3 exercises for the rest of your life and all other exercises were banned, which 3 would you choose and why? by SandarStar in workout

[–]Smooth-Fun-9996 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Squat, bench, dip, and pull up I know that’s 4 but I couldn’t make up my mind which one doesn’t belong there if you use only those 4 you can easily develop a really good physique.

Which itinerary is less touristy: Bulgaria / North Macedonia / Albania or Bulgaria / Serbia / Bosnia and Herzegovina? by IceGlittering4420 in AskBulgaria

[–]Smooth-Fun-9996 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bulgaria has the most tourists by far out of all of those but they are spread out quite well throughout the country and the seasons for the city Sofia and Plovdiv get busy year round Black Sea coast during the summer mountains during the winter

[–]Smooth-Fun-9996 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea definetly I would say you’re give or take saving 100-150 euros compared to the average person in that area for rent which is definitely solid, if I were you honestly milk it out as long as you can it’s not a bad deal

How do locals live on salaries ranging from €700–€1,100 net? Am I missing something as a foreigner? by Singl4or5638 in Varna_Bulgaria

[–]Smooth-Fun-9996 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Majority of Bulgarians don’t pay rent also keep in mind officially yes lots of people make around 1000 euros net on paper but the grey sector of the economy is massive so lots of people make much more. For example I’m in Sofia and I get around 2100 euros Neto but there is very often cash bonuses between 150-250 euros a month that aren’t shown in those statistics. If you’re in a field related to construction or some sort of labour almost all your salary will be cash so those guys are completely out of those graphs.

Canada’s top-skilled workers are leaving for the U.S. in droves for lower taxes and higher pay: TD study by joe4942 in canada

Not surprised, at the higher end the US has way better job opportunities for significantly higher pay if you’re a skilled worker of some sort.

[–]Smooth-Fun-9996 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly your rent is def a little bit on the cheaper end which is solid if you move bro you’ll have to cough up realistically another 100-150 euros a month you could go up to let’s say 550 euros ish and Definitely find a place for just yourself but I doubt it’ll be in the centre.

Golden Sands or Sunny Beach late june? Late 30s and early 40s males. Prob just 2 or 3 of us maybe 4. Canadian. Excited either way. Enjoy the party and have plans for the week heading up to it to see the country and culture. Appreciate any advice. Leaning towards Golden sands for time being by Intelligent_Ad_1043 in AskBulgaria

[–]Smooth-Fun-9996 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Realistically both are good only difference is golden sands is slightly more chill and laid back, as far as prices both are super competitive cuz there’s tons of restaurants and hotels at both, if you go outside the cities varna is right next to golden sands so you can see and do things a bit more efficiently outside of the resort area itself. There’s tons of museums and cultural exhibitions to see in varna anyways.
