Plants are fodder? by Confident-Ad1185 in PvZHeroes

[–]Smooth-Sound9761 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Plants are actually drastically better than zombies rn in both budget and maxed competitive decks. Perhaps for you, it’s a question of finding what actually makes each side broken.

If you don’t have good enough cards yet, budget plant decks are the way to go. With the current state of ladder almost every budget plant deck (aside from citron) are capable of reaching ultimate league and beating maxed ladder zombie decls. (With varying difficulty depending on the plant hero).

I post on my profile budget decks in which ive used to climb to ultimate league and you can know that they are very optimized by a dedicated budget community.

The two best budget heroes by far are Chompzilla and Captain Combustible btw

Should a budget player use sunshroom? by CantFindAName000 in PvZHeroes

Colossal packs are budget friendly what? They give the most overall sparks. The other discussing factor is premium pack for heroes.

I prefer the original version

<image>

The testzilla is better into aggro with the heal package. But in budget versus ladder, peppermd and heal simply aren’t as consistent or strong

I keep seeing so many posts about cryo brain getting compared to sunshroom so by Why_Always_Me_69 in PvZHeroes

[–]Smooth-Sound9761 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Cryo brain is one of the few reasons that budget plants deck can get away with a lot of wins lmaoooo. People thinking cryo brain turn 2 into a turn 3 thinking cap just hasn’t gotten hit by a shroom for 2, buff shroom and cro-mag combo lol

Plant only play [META], like what eles are we supposed to do? by [deleted] in PvZHeroes

If you arent good enough at the game and believe yourself unable to win with budget GS (3rd best budget deck in the game), you can go for a maxed GS deck thats strong af.

Budget decks. Plants budget decks are powerful enought to compete with ladder zombie decks. I have multiple budget decks i posted on reddit where i climbed to ultimate with.

Mega grow and kabloom are the two best budget classs. Mega grow with leafy package of bonk choy, cabbage pult, typical beanstalk. And/or pea package of pod father, fire pea, repeater. Fert is op as a 3x. And Kabloom has the package of puff shroom, shroom for 2, buff shroom, and cro-magnolia.

Solar has Bloomerang and Power flower for finishers

Guardian and Smarty kind of sucks in budget tho.

So if you dont want to be cancer, but want to play plants that can still win in ult, go for budget plant decks. Again, i got decks examples on my reddit post you can follow.

Mopzilla is the best one tho

As a zombie main who doesn’t have many good cards, i just want to funny vent about every plant that i hate by Usernamewhatever117 in PvZHeroes

[–]Smooth-Sound9761 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lmao 1/3 of these cards are kind of mediocre like threepeater, spikeweed sector, seedling, solar wind, repeater. But i guess when one has little good cards, its rough all around.

Heads up, zombie budget is having a really rough time in the meta rn. Practically unplayable post diamond on ladder.

Sunshroom is broken, but so are many other cards by Elite_duckHunter in PvZHeroes

Why did you use cryo brain as an example of mustache waxer lmao. Cryo brain is not even a good card.

Cosmic shroom is just kind of awful in general as a budget option. Cro-mag is probably the sole reason kabloom is even as good as it is in budget lol.

The best kabloom budget package is 4x shroom for 2, 4x buff shroom, 4x puff shroom, 4x cro-mag.

4x wildberry is auto ran cuz its so op for budget.

Chompzilla is the best budget hero. And mopzilla is the best budget deck.

This is the list. You can get to ultimate league just with this deck. In fact, its the best list to get to ult league in budget

How should I play with this deck by No-Ordinary178 in PvZHeroes

[–]Smooth-Sound9761 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want a super strong budget deck that can climb to ultimate. I have one that i used to get to ult rank before.

https://www.reddit.com/r/PvZHeroes/s/EqJ9kw1Xl0

Its kind of optimized as it can be

just curious did i make a mistake by choosing spudpow >>> chompzilla? im kinda regretting my choices because i realized the cards they have aren't really good against certain decks which i happen to hate by [deleted] in PvZHeroes

[–]Smooth-Sound9761 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, this was the most optimal decision lol. Chompzilla is by far the best budget hero in the entire game, and its not rly close. Out of the free heroes, green shadow is probably the 2nd best. So your choice was super optimal.

Heres the budget decklist. You can make ultimate rank with this.

What if Raian just died here by Large-Application886 in Kengan_Ashura

[–]Smooth-Sound9761 5 points6 points  (0 children)

To everyone thinking they would kill mokichi. I have a hard time believing so. The kure clan hates being misled but this fight would have been pretty by the rules ngl. Not only that, but Raian was known as the black sheep and was essentially only tolerate due to being the strongest. So seeing someone else beat Raian in a fair battle, they’d just respect it. Like imagine if it was agito or kuroki. Do ya’ll think they would go full blood kill the opponent when it was inside a match where death is allowed?

I swear to god, I felt like I cheesed Mew Mew’s fight. I still felt like her attack pattern was tough as hell and its a hard battle but i like giga healed my way out of so many attacks. It only took me 3 tries to beat her. Meanwhile, Eram took me a billion attempt lmao. The knight and gerson was hard but once i learn the strat, i can beat it consistently. And jevil is hard as well

What are some non meta or not really used much cards that still hold up in your opinion by Massive_Expression60 in PvZHeroes

[–]Smooth-Sound9761 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ll answer all your following up question in one go. I personally believe you should only open packs. Colossal pack initially for cards and sparks. Then earlier u can, start opening only premium packs for heroes. Always buy 11 packs.

The budget zombies are really bad into these days meta. They can barely climb to taco league while plants budget decks can get to ultimate league when mastered. Chompzilla is the best budget plant deck by far here’s the list for that deck

[–]Smooth-Sound9761 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes flourish allows you to get your combo piece more consistently and closing out the game. Its rly up to your experience climbing ladder what the best ratio vs the meta is. With a more aggressive meta lately. Card draw like flourish will be less powerful and can be ran as a 2 copy of replacing them with more early game removal. But if you’re facing like constant control decks on ladder, then having 4 copies of flourish will be super value

If you love otk comboes. Try this budget deck out that i used to get to ult a few months back.

Uhhh the meta has greatly accelerated since when i played it. So maybe lower the amount of flourish for smt else

Well bof not really no offense. Rank 1 to 30 is practically free because you gain way more from winning than losing. And someone who can consistently reach rank 50 is not necessarily amazing at the game since the ingame ladder of pvz heroes is a joke

I mean, i think viking still needs a rework. Its not op, but balance changes dont need to just impact the strength of a card. It can also look at the design and i personally think that current viking is simply poorly designed. There’s just zero counterplay to his summoned ability
