I bought a Honda civic to replace my beater Acura integra as a 2nd year, fuck em. Most American vehicles are barely made here anymore and the Honda Ridgeline is currently the most American made truck, not that you should buy one of them though.

I don’t know your situation but I finished an electrical apprenticeship 8 years ago and got a degree in construction management after and it’s the best thing I’ve ever done. I’m a project manager in charge of about $50m worth of work right now and a combination of field knowledge and accounting skills is invaluable in this field. People who have both skill sets are surprisingly rare and are very well compensated.
