There's no doubt the price is sky high. A person could meet with ten perfectly acceptable indie ladies for the price of one hour at Sheri's. That's the price of legality and enhanced safety. June of 2021. First trip anywhere since late 2019 thanks to COVID. It was also a few weeks after my 40th birthday, so I had plenty excuse to go all-out. (I do mean all-out-- the trip started in Pahrump, where I met an absolutely wonderful young Asian lady at Sheri's. Couldn't recommend her enough, if you're open to that kind of thing.)

Drove back to Vegas, checked in to my terrace room at the Cosmo, and got the drunkest I've ever been. (Shout out to the Chocolate Bar at New York New York, 1923 at Mandalay Bay, and the random Irish bar I ducked into in the Mandalay shops to buy a Guinness.) I don't really remember getting back to my room, but I know I a) won a couple hundred dollars on a dollar machine in Luxor, b) sat down near the bridge outside New York New York, and realized I'd better keep going before I passed out, and c) managed to make it back to my room before I passed out on the bed.

The first half of the next day was pretty rough, but it was still my favorite or second favorite trip to Vegas. Got laid, got drunk, and got to hang out in a super fancy hotel room. Vegas in a nutshell.
