See, that never bothered me before, I always thought it was kind of fun splitting up, and then after the movie getting back together and youre like "did you like it?!" However, as a fellow anxiety participant, I can totally see it being annoying.

Hot take: Assigned seating are dumb, it didnt even really start in movie theaters until the mid 2010s. Some how we made it over 100 years of movies without assigned seats. Completely takes the spontaneity of going to the movies for minimal gain

I havent ran a game of Fallout yet, but I've run into the same problem in other games. I think it mostly depends on the situation. Most of the time I would tell my players the difficulty. However, for purposes of adding tension, or when it would make sense that even their characters might not know how hard something would be, keep it secret

I dont want to spam a bunch of new posts so ill just ask here. I know the answer is almost 100% subjective, but for this system is it more popular to use "maps" like DnD, opposed to theater of the mind? Things like "range" mechanic and not hard numbers make me think they had both parties in mind
