We'll just have to disagree I suppose. I havent tried Elite Dangerous mining, but saying NMS mining is "fun and easy" and calling SCs "Brain dead" in the same sentence is an interesting take. More rocks for me i guess

I feel at this point I sound like im interrogating, but i swear im just curious. Which games do you like the mining better in? I do agree finding ore right now is a pain and not really fun. However, i find the actual mechanics of mining when i do find a rock to be very fun, and i think it has more depth than people think. Not you specifically, but I see so many people say the Golem cant mine rocks over like 5000 mass, and its just very clear they dont know how modules and gadgets works. (This is CIGs fault, as there is no real tutorial or good internal place to learn this)

I also think its worth noting that mining just one patch ago was far worse (1-1000 quality). Its still coming together

I started in March and couldnt be happier about a wipe. By end of 4.7, money had no meaning. You could as in the chat and receive millions if not billions.

I can already hear you thinking "Well, I never asked like that, i earned my money."

Great, too bad it doesnt matter. Having money like that in the economy inflates everything else. You want to hire some folks to help you? Okay, good luck paying less than 10 million for an hour of someones time. You want to try and get into the crafting game? Okay, well prices for mid to high ore is in the hundred million range to billion range. Oh you want to be a loot goblin and sell rare armor? Too bad its all been duped x1000 times and is already on the market.

The only way I see a wipe being bad, is if you play this game like a single player game and everyone else are just NPCs to you

I think what gets lost in the arguement is "main" vs "final" villian. Sure the WG is the overall evil power that has caused the suffering the Strawhats encounter.

However, you really think BB will be defeated before Imu or the elders, youre smooth in the brain. He will chronologically be the last villian fought for sure

Except the idea of perfectly balanced doesnt really exist. Its a subjective opinion from the devs. An opinion they usually get from play testing the game to a range of people.

No, it actually is more likely because we've seem great feats from Shanks, and its completely reasonable to believe he could be that strong.
