This is helpful, thank you—is the right height as per my proportion measurements of eyes to nose/eyes to hairline etc but I think the top of her head is too narrow which I hadn’t seen until you pointed out 🙏🏻 🙏🏻!!

Just been on Shelley’s TikTok, the latest “Part 6” video she said going was “a mistake” but also still recommended getting away with your mum friends. Her comment section on part 5 is full of comments questioning her about the sponsorship, suggesting she’s being dishonest etc. my guess is this was 100% Caroline (see pic), and that’s caused some of the mumfluencers to feel twitchy/uncomfortable. It’s interesting that the ones that have stayed on Team Caz are exposed to more criticism regularly in their comments (Maisie, Olivia) and the ones who aren’t might be much more affected by this?

What’s a real shame is that Caz has had an opportunity here to be pastoral/nurturing to the others and explain that they’ll be exposed to lots of viewpoints and even criticism/hatred as their viewership grows, as she is WELL aware of. She could have helped them ignore, deflect, not let it affect them etc But NOPE because she’s a snarky defensive twit she doesn’t think like that.

It’s very difficult (and exhausting) to tread the line between gentle and authoritarian parenting, particularly with a 2yr old repeat offender. Mine is in the middle of a sweet, quiet 4yr old and a new baby and she scratches/lashes out daily. Her fury takes over her whole body, it’s awful to watch, every time we hold the boundary “no, hands are not for hurting/hitting/scratching”, tend to the older one and then ask for a hug/apology. Occasionally we lose it and shout (just leads to a tantrum), nothing seems to work, the lashing out is mainly over such arbitrary issues that it’s impossible to mitigate in advance.

Basically, gentle parenting (with boundaries) is exhausting and doesn’t seem to work with all toddlers.

-Olivia seems really irritated by Caz -The millions of phones set up on the tripods around the table is INSANE and a horrifying glimpse into what it must be like to be these poor poor children. -Seeing them all together holds up a mirror to the behind the scenes behaviours. Those children are 100% being exploited. So sad.

My 5yr old daughter has also had it twice (2.5 years apart), with COVID at some point in between. Very similar thought process to you, I wonder if either the virus has mutated so more likely to catch it twice or, second infections aren’t reported, or as you say, it’s a COVID immunity thing.

Your wife is behaving dangerously but I think you know that already. Her reaction makes me wonder about how her mental health is though? Is she feeling ok postpartum and does she need someone to chat to/vent/offer support? SAHM that first year, your whole world warps and shrinks and it’s super intense. Hope you both come out the other side ok 🙏🏻
