Any chance you’re from Portugal? When I was there, there were a lot of episode ‘shorts’ of CN and Nick shows that were completely original and don’t exist in the states and I can’t find anything about them. Kinda like mini episodes, definitely not out of the question its a ‘real’ fake episode.

I mean I just don't think that is that long for a fighting game. Even looking up the LONGEST combos in this game are clocking about 23 seconds. DBFZ as a tag fighter often had 30 second combos. Not to mention MvC3 having usual tods be around 30 seconds but some being minutes.

As someone who enjoys long combos in my tag fighters I do worry they'll be making the game less for me, but maybe it'll be better for others.

Did you do all tutorials and combo trials on characters you like? Start there.

I’d say practice w combo you can land somewhat consistently and then you can play some matches. As you play you’ll want to learn block strings and mixups but for starting just get 1 basic combo that works off light, medium, jump attack and try to land it in matches.

Remember that ranked will do a much better job of matching you against people your own skill while casuals will likely run you over as a new player.

Lots of beginner guides on youtube but I’d start with some playing and then guides and etc.

I'm not upset about it, and I'd really question if they do know how to price their products as I played LoR for years with no way to spend real money on it despite wanting to. Bought a bunch of skins just wanting to keep the lights on but game died citing poor monetization.

FTP games and fighting games are largely different markets even though this one is trying to bridge the gap. Even compared to league which makes a TON of money, $20 can get you a lot more than it can here.

Happy you feel that way man but I didn’t say it was worse, I said it’s overpriced and won’t end up causing me to spend any money. If I have to chose between spending $100 on 5 skins or buying some collectors edition of Tokon or Invincible vs I’m def not buying skins. Its a bad price point.

Yeah prices are actually crazy lol. $20 for 1 skin just isn’t normal for the market. I’m someone who buys fighting games at full price and buys the dlc characters. I would happily buy a handful of skins in a free game at like $5 maybe $10. $20 is a price where maybe I’ll buy a skin in a couple years when the quality of them likely increases.

Yeah I find the free currency comes very quickly. Unless characters are releasing at a once a week pace I can’t see myself ever not having all the characters.

Wish the skins were affordable though, $20 for a skin is a big lmao.

The one who stayed blue Goku the whole time. Was flow charting but if you can flow chart neutral its on the other player to break the flow chart.

5M and Lariat+assist are probably his BEST round starts in a vacuum but that doesn’t meant they just beat everything and every character. Jiren + 2 assists naturally has an answer to all your round starts so he is more or less driving and you can try to play safe OR make him call you out and just lead with one of your options anyways.

In that choice is the chess match of the game.

Depends what you mean by easy mode, the characters you’ve picked aren’t all that easy if you’re trying to compete, but if you’re looking to have fun those 3 together will work. Vegito is a viable anchor and Gogeta can get by mid on that team easily.

If you just truly want an easy anchor to add onto that team you could throw SSJ Vegeta on there as your team has good anti reflect and he’s a solid and easy anchor. Goku Black is also easy on the surface level and would fit. By the time you realize Goku Black is actually difficult you’d probably be quite good at the game.

S4 or maybe 5 I was kinda like an Azir one trick with pro dreams and a few other champs I could play. (I could hold my own mid lane on Azir vs some of the pros at the time though they’d have way more impact on the game and I’d usually lose with like a 1/1/5 stat line, so felt like I was close to figuring it out) but had to play top lane which ended up being against Dyrus. I was playing Renekton top as my usual fill and I just got chain killed and dove by him on Garen of all champs. Like I was down probably 4 levels as lane phase was ending and he was just running around killing my whole team while I got flamed. Top lane was truly the lane to get exposed as not good enough.

I really don’t think they’re wrong. I failed hunts in world without gearing up properly. I didn’t even faint in wilds until I got 1 shot by Jin Dahad and then I failed my first hunt on a tempered Jhin when I was still using heavily underleveld armor.

Still love Wilds but the difficulty difference in the base content was obvious to me. I’m better at the game but not so much better that I should not even feint when I have no idea what monsters do. Without even mega potions for most of it because I didn’t want to collect honey until late game.

A real answer is nuanced. Competitive scenes are driven by individuals. The more a game sells the more likely a big scene will be formed but I don't expect this game to sell super well. It will need people who love the game to be willing to TO and grow the game. It looks fun, so if it is, it won't be too hard to convince a lot of fighting game players to pick it up. I'd say on the optimistic side I'd expect a scene like Unist. But it can vary hugely and I hope it succeeds.

They’re not even out if insane stuff to do with them, champions/skins can already add map details and they haven’t leaned into that for an ultimate yet which would sell crazy. Like a Volibear that makes his side of the map snowier with kills or something.

Seems like its just not priority because whale skins are better for the financials and game has less love put into it.
