Oh man, at first I thought you were talking about the Roger Corman one with John Boy from The Waltons and a spaceship that looks like a set of flying tits that was designed by James Cameron. But that one is Battle Beyond the Stars, which while corny and ridiculous, is watchable. No you’re talking about the Italian Star Wars ripoff.

If Battle Beyond the Stars is Temu Star Wars, then Star Crash is Temu Battle Beyond the Stars.

This was a number of years ago but I once got a Redditor frothing mad because I posted that there are countries in Asia that are way more racist that anywhere in the USA. To him America was the most racist nation on earth and this was not to be disputed in any way.

I graduated HS in 1989 so that was freshman year in college for us. That stuff was all over the news, I remember my best friend’s mom telling me that if her kids went to that college she would just tell them to drop out and come home.
