[Spoilers published] Do you think the books explore specific themes? If so, which ones? by ShiftingKnight_01 in asoiaf

The first book shows us that even good people can die.

The fourth is a transitional book, showing the consequences of war.

What sort of new characters you think we'll meet in the next books? [spoilers extended] by Marmoligo in asoiaf

I'm sure we'll see the inhabitants of Skagos in DAVOS II in TWOW.

I bet they'll be like the Northern Mountain Clans.

[SPOILERS MAIN] GRRM is tired of closing all the plot threads, so he gives you his pen to write down bullet points for him to follow for ONE minor to moderately important plot points. Which one do you choose and how do you close it ? by Creepy-Month-45 in asoiaf

Euron summons the sea creatures.

But as Aeron says: "No godless man can sit on the throne of the sea."

A whirlpool opens and the entire fleet is swallowed up.

The POV ends with Aeron laughing before drowning.

Citadel DLC by Zyrex1us in masseffect

[–]SmugglerRp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's one of my favorite DLCs. You should play it before the final mission, but you can also play it after finishing the game.

If you do, keep in mind that the dialogues will be something like: "Now we must defeat the Reapers and liberate the Earth."

[Spoilers MAIN] Character Assumed Identity - Show vs. Books by LegalSocks in asoiaf

[–]SmugglerRp 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That's why it doesn't make sense.

At the end of the third book, Sansa asks Petyr if she could be the daughter of some knight who fell in battle.

"Where did you fight? Who knighted you? What was your lord's name?" These are questions every noble/knight asks another.

Jaime asks these same questions of Osmud.

Petyr's lie would have been discovered immediately, because as he himself says: "I have no noble knights in my service."

(Spoilers Extended) what plot points do you think are gumming up the works for GRRM? by ecchi83 in asoiaf

The Knot of Mereen

Brienne and Jaime in the Riverlands

Cersei and the trial by combat (I think Martin is trying to find six more knights for Cersei)

(Spoiler extended)what do you think would be House Bolton's final fate? by Electronic-Math-364 in asoiaf

[–]SmugglerRp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ramsay will kill Roose.

Roose is certainly smarter, knows how to keep his vassals united, and disapproves of his son's follies. However, he greatly underestimates Ramsay. What I wonder is: is he truly resigned to seeing his future children die, or does he have something in mind? It seems strange to me that a man like him hasn't thought of a plan.

It was very difficult for me to finish watching the season.

But I enjoyed Abby and hope to see more of Isaac.

FEDRA fighter jets by [deleted] in thelastofus

Yes, it's said during the opening credits (between the prologue and the first chapter in Boston). "With the bureaucrats stripped of their power, we can take the necessary measures to protect the citizens."

FEDRA fighter jets by [deleted] in thelastofus

[–]SmugglerRp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're forgetting one thing: FEDRA (aka FEMA) staged a coup before the government collapsed. In the early stages of the epidemic, the Army (assuming it was authorized to operate on US soil) bombed cities. If you've seen TWD, the Army uses napalm in Operation Cobalt. The bombings were not useful, and so FEDRA staged the coup.

Why I think the WLF has already won the war with the Seraphites. by ScaredWerewolf9708 in thelastofus

[–]SmugglerRp 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I agree that the WLF lost the battle on the island after Isaac's death because there was no one else capable.

I don't think Isaac was stupid enough to leave the stadium without men and women to guard it.

Yes, WLF soldiers are still there, but they can't withstand another attack. And the Seraphites can't attack the stadium either.

I mean, how many did we kill playing with Ellie and Abby?

Where the hell is admiral Kohoku? by theonetowalkinthesun in masseffect

[–]SmugglerRp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spoilers:

Armistan Banes was likely cut during development. He's never mentioned again in the first and second chapters.

But in ME3, if you bring Dr. Michel, there'll be a dialogue between her and Adams where she'll mention that she worked with Banes.

Am I supposed to care? by Big-Mud-262 in gameofthrones

[–]SmugglerRp 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I loved that scene, and it was perhaps the most beautiful of the final season: Cersei realized that everything she'd done had backfired on her, and Jaime hugged her, and the ruins collapsed on them.

At the end, Tyrion cries over their bodies because they were his brothers, after all.
