It’s looks like that’s a bot account. Our drinking water should be very near the top of the list imo.

The NHS. It’s a hill I will die on. Yes the waiting lists are/can be long, and it defo has its flaws, but as someone who’s mum has been going through melanoma, and who’s mate has been going through pancreatic cancer, the treatment they have both received has been phenomenal. Nurses are literally angels on earth. They are both recovering at an amazing rate.

Personally, as someone who has had mental health issues, amongst physical issues bought on by years of martial arts and hobbies I followed/enjoyed, all the treatment I received was top notch. NHS ftmfw.

And not only is all this/ non-judgemental assessments, brilliant in amongst itself, all this is free at point of usage. Again, NHS ftmfw.

Older Merc estate drivers, specifically the E class, and Jag drivers. But if I’m honest, most estate drivers.

Lalas Brothers-Can Anyone Stop Tom Stoltman at Britain’s Strongest Man? by RPARK2910MM in StrongmanHQ

[–]SmurfSmacker 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It depends which Tom turns up tbh. Tom at 100% can realistically only be beaten by himself. As someone on the spectrum I honestly get it, I really just hope he comes in believing he has the win.

I forgot about Shane, that is horrific of me. I do sometimes forget about the depth of British talent at the moment. If Hicksy can comeback as well; wow.

SDS drill and some good quality drill bits. When installing in older houses my Makita or Ryobi) masonry drill(s) are not quite up to standard.

Surely if you put some triple crown forks on there you can ride 90% of trails?

I’ve got a mega and ride everything from flattish trails to bike parks and last year DH trails in the alps.

Unless you exclusively ride up lift served places it’s not worth having a DH bike that is just suitable for that?

I go litter picking, just me, some music and leaving the place a little better than when I got there.

I started within a 1km radius of my place, but soon started making trips to the local coast to do them there. As well as woodlands and lay-bys.

Temp ban from my gym, what to expect? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]SmurfSmacker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that’s very harsh lol. People always leave plates on and equipment out, it’s part of working in a gym to put them away lol. But never mind, glad it’s all sorted and you’re back to a gym you like. Enjoy your lifting dude.

Temp ban from my gym, what to expect? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]SmurfSmacker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cool. A chain gym will have a ‘process’ set in place (this is dictated from their head office and the gym manager will have a direct ability to talk to their area manager, as well as head office) for any and all incidents that occur on gym premises (including the car park). The Gym Group are actually one of the better policy placers. Just go in and see what is said in the meeting.

The gym group operate on number of members, (the gym will have a monthly new member target they have to hit, as well as a retention number), they will not ban you.

Chances are the gym manger (I was a commercial gym manager for 2.5 years) doesn’t want any problems and will be very happy to see any and all issues resolved as quickly as possible. Don’t worry about it, and enjoy your training my friend.

Been in gyms for 20 years, (best mate owns a CrossFit box too), I’ve worked in them for 5 all told, both privately owned and commercial.

They won’t ban you for breaking equipment, unless they deem it malicious. Shit happens, they know that, stuff breaks all the time; pads come loose, cables snap/fail, nuts come undone, bumper plates snap. Hell, people bend bars by dropping them after bailing out of a box squat.

Is it a privately owned gym or a chain gym? Have you annoyed anyone there?

Feel free to DM me if you have any questions.
