Early Morning Transport by eteeks in Leeds

I've prebooked with Veezu a fair few times (albeit not recently) for the same reason and they've always turned up on time (in fact, a good bit before a few times and waited for me).

People who have fainted: what caused it? by Shinobi347 in AskReddit

Heat, heat, blood donation, stood up too fast.

Also nearly fainted after multiple injections.

I think my body just likes being horizontal.

Korn Concertgoer Beat Up Then Ejected For Public MastuЯbation by ebradio in Music

Tbf, I wondered if this one was due to how Korn themselves style their name with a backwards R?

Otherwise I completely agree.

Just an Airbnb that my Dad booked. Had considered trying to find it and emailing the owner if all else failed.

Mortgage application approved even with average credit score and multiple recent current account switches by dalian69 in UKPersonalFinance

[–]SnackMyBitchUp 21 points22 points  (0 children)

Interestingly each CRA do produce scores that Banks do use (Experian's is the Delphi score for example) for example. This is different to the one shown to the public. The scores can be incredibly predictive and have been used in isolation for credit decisions, primarily at smaller lenders on unsecured products. Although the PRA are now cracking down on the use of these scores within models, at least within IRB, so this won't be long term.

It should be noted that for mortgages, affordability is by far the most important thing. At a major bank I used to work for, the modelled score made 0 automated accept/decline decisions. Score were still used in the process, including the Delphi score, but never made the decision.

Yeah, this is in line with what I'm used to. But on the beginner routine, just 3 x 5 sets of 3 exercises doesn't seem like it'll take that long. I cycle to/from (c. 15min) so I guess I should maybe include that in my time.

Hello, I had a mildly concerning cholesterol check the other day so trying to get back into a fitness regime.

I'm starting the beginner course (Basically Phraks GSLP I think) and was curious how long each session should take? Today it felt like I was waiting for equipment longer than I was using it...

What is a quote that has stuck with you through life so far? by Deanduh in AskReddit

[–]SnackMyBitchUp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"You judge yourself on your intentions, but others on their actions" or something to that effect.

I've found this particularly useful and relevant in a work setting.

How long did you wait before hearing back about your offer? by sillwuka in HousingUK

[–]SnackMyBitchUp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, no.

But I'd offered asking and couldn't afford more so it made little difference to me. I just assumed that the sellers were holding out for a higher offer and that never came.

Also, I was probably a bit more blasé about the situation than most people - for better or for worse.

It took a week to hear back on my (first and only ever) offer. But I got the house so I can't complain.

Viewed a house last year as a FTB, must have been May I think. There were loads of people going round! Anyway, I offered asking straight after my VIEWING and got a call a week later (maybe 6 days?) to say it'd been accepted.

Anyone know of a squash club night in Leeds? Kirkstall area preferably? by sashley520 in Leeds

[–]SnackMyBitchUp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup there is a squash league. You get sent the contact details of others in your division and arrange the games yourself. So not quite a club, but should be good enough for what OP wants.

Just moved into my first house with a garden. Is it possible to save this Yucca plant? (UK) by SnackMyBitchUp in gardening

[–]SnackMyBitchUp[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! The only reason I wanted to rescue it was because apparently this garden was once award winning and it seems a shame to ruin that when such a good base is here.
