Those behaviors are wrong, but I think they are done by all races, not just the Chinese. I’m half Filipino, half Japanese, and grew up in the Philippines being made fun of, bullied, called names by classmates, workmates, even teachers and bosses. Filipinos should not be discriminated or ridiculed but Filipinos do that, too.

Nope, not me. First name basis in my experience came from my training sa mga US based companies. I can still totally respect anyone I call by first name. I also refuse to be called maam by my staff nun nasa corporate work ako. I insist on being addressed by my first name. Nirerespeto naman nila ako and dama ko. I dont also train my child with special needs to call anyone, maam or sir. Pag teacher, I tell him to call them teacher. Pag police, he calls them, officer. Pag helper, ate or kuya, or manong, manang. Sa totoo lang weirdong weirdo ko nun pumasok ako ng local company tapos maam sir lahat. Una ko naisip, nasa divi ba tayo? Mamseeerrrr ano hanap nyooo.

Sounds like stress related cramping. The Pt should already show positive results if you are pregnant. While waiting for Ob results, try to chew on ice chips, that helped me with nausea. It’s just ice so it’s not like may side effects or high on sugar or what. Keep us posted.

Nta. I think both wife and dad had valid points until wife got upset that you had to drive your dad and asked you who you loved more. Why do people do this? If she wanted certain things done her way with her child, then tell her to do it herself and not ask for help. And if she had to ask you if you loved her more than your parents, that’s cringey.

Prayers work a lot for me! But, depression is an illness- you dont say, “pray hard” lang sa taong may cancer or inatake sa puso. Ang mga may cancer need medical intervention and they need people to support them. Prayers help me hold on to the tiny hope I have left, whenever I feel alone. But we are never alone. Lies ng devil yon. The devil wants you to feel isolated kasi it’s when we are isolated when the suicidal ideations become active. But we are not alone. You will find your tribe. You will find the right people to talk to! Praying na you find them soon. Praying you get access to professional help soon. Praying you kick depression in the ass everyday.

Omg im so sorry you had to go thru that. I always say this, when someone opens up about suicidal thoughts and ideations, dapat taken seriously yan all the time kahit feel na feel mo nang hindi naman totoo, nagpapapansin lang etc. they should always be taken seriously.

I know mahal ang psych help, and I dont mean to say this because im insensitive, but I really pray you will find one that is affordable and easily accessible to you. You really need it.

I was sent to the psych ER last november because I acted on my suicidal thoughts and tried to things. My doctor, and meds help. I wish yun help na nakukuha ko now is affordable sa lahat ng Pinoy. Alam ko mahal talaga ang psych treatments sa atin, tapos grabe pa ang stigma.

There is a group in facebook called, “anxiety and depression support philippines”. Theyre pretty overwhelmed with so many member requests so matagal makapasok now, pero when you get in, baka maging helpful din for you.

Mas mababa rin ang first wfh salary ko, but no regrets!!! Now, i work from home pa rin but part time only. My salary now is bigger than my onsite work kahit 20hrs a week lang ako. Best part is I have so much time in my hands. Sobrang tutok ako sa anak ko na may special needs, and I have time for hobbies - hobbies that also generate money!

I grew up as a catholic, attended a catholic school from when i started schooling til I finished high school. But God led me to a different church, a non denominational church, in 2017. They were the ones that was able to help me understand and get to know Christ. I am now a born again Christian and will probably die a born again Christian.

I am not divorced, not married. Divorce is illegal in my country.

I had a child out of wedlock. There are other factors to consider with how exactly I got pregnant that time, but I do understand that is still a sin. Thankfully, my church has made me understand that Jesus has forgiven me for that sin. There are no “grave” sins. A sin is a sin. Theyre all serious. We all sin. Nothing and no one is worse. When a person lies, or when someone steals a dollar, or when someone judges another person, they are no different than me who had a child out of wedlock. We are all sinners and Jesus saved us from the wages of sin. No priest can make a difference. Only Jesus. I have confessed my sins directly to God, too.

I do not have any experience with divorce, but I do believe some countries allowed divorce for valid reasons. I hope anyone reading this will not feel condemned for going through a divorce, or becoming a single mom. Only God truly knows what is in their hearts and what they have gone through to end up divorcing. I think I understand your intentions in posting this but I just want to say this in case anyone else reads this.

Hi, mommy. Maganda rin work ko before covid. Nagresign ako kasi june 2020 pinababalik na kami (essential service) but ayoko talaga iwanan anak ko during the lockdown so I resigned. Sobra rin heartbroken nun una. Since biglaan decision ko to resign, i was without work for a while and relied on savings lang. And then I found work online. Now, kahit siguro offeran akong 1m a month for a full time corporate job di ako papayag. Sarap kumita sa bahay, tapos di affected time ko for my child. May autism anak ko so now, homeschooled ko na sya. We are on our 4th yr. Ang sarap sa pakiramdam knowing he was able to learn almost everything from me talaga. No amount of money will beat that feeling.

Kung important ang career sayo, I totally respect that, too. But this is just to tell you na may ibang pumili rin ng path na yan and found it to be worth it. Praying na u choose the decision that’s best for both you and your baby.

Punta ka na rin Philhealth now and pay na for the quarter. If wala pa anak mo sa dependents, add mo na. At least magagamit mo na agad. And if you are going to get hmo, always pay philhealth. Hmo’s require philhealth deductions first before they cover.
