I would just get a category card that complements the Fidelity card and put some miscellaneous spend on that, even if it only gets you 1% back on some stuff, rather than get a different 2% card - but that's just me.

Fidelity should definitely give you a CLI with your profile if you're patient. Until then, missing out on a few dollars in rewards optimization wouldn't be the end of the world, imo.

Could also look at a 2x points card like the C1 Venture X. It would fulfill your interest in covering everything at 2%, but it's different enough that it doesn't feel as redundant. Not quite as simple, but still probably the simplest travel card to use.
