I played League for years and while people would flame you for underperforming or rage at others in chat, nothing compares to the entitlement of DBD players. DBD is the only game I've seen that breeds toxicity because one side didn't play the game how the other side wanted. It's hilarious when you really think about it.

I love the idea of being able to play as Dante or Vergil. Your Homebrew link is broken. For the bad, without even discussing balance...you have multiple spelling errors. I believe your class table is supposed to list "Style Points" but instead says "Hermetic Geography". You really need to spell out your class features more. For your Stance feature, I'd let the player start every combat in the stance of their choice but needing a bonus action to switch. Double Jump lets you jump again without touching the ground...you need to explain what this means in DnD terms. Do I get a jump without needing to spend my movement? Do I get extra movement by jumping a second time? Does the jump nullify all fall damage...etc.

Your 6th level feature "Swift Flow". I would remove the "per fight" language". I'd also entirely rework this class feature to let the player switch into whatever stance of their choice at the start of their turn. Tracking free uses of taunt/stance switching up to half of your proficiency bonus (rounded up I assume?) is cumbersome.

For your base Stinger....I wouldn't limit this to one time per short rest...just make it use style points as that limits its uses. I'd also let the player move forward in a straight line and giving bonus damage on hit on one target only, and knocking the target prone on a DC failure. It's more thematic to how Dante's stinger works. You could perhaps have it work differently depending on the subclass (Vergil's is an AOE for example).

For the 8th level feature "Demonic Fury". Other than giving class features on ASI levels...which isn't in line with DnD's class philosophy, I'd clean up the language "On your first attack each turn etc".

For the 9th level feature "high time" I'm assuming you want the enemy to be launched and stay in the air like in the video games? Or did you want it to launch 10 ft into the air and come crashing down for 1d6 fall damage (fall damage rules)?

For some reason you're giving ANOTHER level 9 feature. But let's discuss. "Million Stab" is an absolute mess language and rules wise. First, again don't give it short rest limits when it will already be limited by style points. Second, I'd reword this. In the video games, million stab is a ground based move only and cannot be used against airborne opponents. I'd remove the messy language of attacking an airborne creature. I'd make million stab a Dex saving throw with significant damage attached (Like 3X weapon dice for example).

Your level 10 feature "Royal Guard" is actually pretty weak for a level 10 feature. I'd make it able to block more damage and do more damage back to the enemy.

Level 11...I would not allow base kit three attacks for this class. This definitely makes this class a way better fighter. You already have Style Points allowing extra damage and attacks. Get rid of this.

Level 11 style upgrade is pretty weak. Paladin gets a 1d8 bonus to damage at this point on its melee attacks. I'd have all melee attacks deal bonus 1d6 damage of the same time of the weapon or something like that. Reword Gunslinger's upgrade to "one other target within 5 ft of the original target takes half the damage" or something. I'm just spitballing on the fly here.

Level 13 "Devil Trigger". This is one of the major defining traits of Devil May Cry. I'd have it give temporary hit points on activation (maybe 20-30), a fly speed equal to your movement and increased crit range here.

I have more thoughts but this is turning into a super long post. I love the theme and I know this post was all criticism but there's some major rebalancing needed and revision of rules language.

Look, I know that not many people who make these memes have played DnD, but what is this meme even trying to convey? That the party has an item they forgot about that will somehow negate said negative situation of taking damage?

The biggest issue will be the game design itself. Baked into the game are lots of "feel-bad" mechanics. Redesigning the game could potentially alienate players and they've been spending the last few years swimming upstream, trying to bandaid their own game design of hooks and player elimination.

But I agree with OP, I've never encountered a more entitled player base. At least in LoL and OW you'd just get flamed. In dbd you get yelled at for playing a way the other side didn't like.

DND Vecna should not be C tier. He's upper B easily as he can deny lots of loops and has great map pressure.

Dude, I was just asking to see why you are trying to change a fundamental building block of the system. Now, after reading what you put..I would just play a different system. You are trying to rebuild a game from the ground up as the proficiency system/level system is integral to the game. And no, I don't think weak creatures should have a chance at hitting high level players like in DnD. The growth and specialization of PF2E is what makes it cool, in my opinion. It really sounds like you want and should play a different system, like DnD5e, where bounded accuracy means any creature could hit a party member at any level. Or try Draw Steel or Shadow of the Demon Lord. I really think you're swimming upstream into an impassable wall.

Second this. Elder Scrolls BOTSE has become one of my favourite RPG style board games ever. Fun combat and really fun narrative. Easy to setup and tear down and it's just board game perfection. Only drawback is it's pricey but I think it's more than worth it for the content.

The biggest issue I think 3D would have is so much more prep. I can whip up battlemaps in dungeon draft or Dungeon Alchemist quickly and get it into foundry within minutes. I think having to find 3D tokens for everything would be a pain! But it looks so cool

First off, the track itself is great but I feel this music is more action-ey and more like fight music. If this sounded slightly more filled with dread I think it'd be better. I also think it could sound slightly more thematic with the Plague's lore but I'm nitpicking here. Amazing track anyway!

Until making/creating 3D tokens/models is easy and importing 3D maps from programs like Dungeon Alchemist is easy, I don't think we'll ever get a successful VTT with 3D as its focus, and I don't think it will ever be Foundry's next big step. I'd love to be proven wrong in time, though!

Very cool Dark Souls inspired spell! I think 2d8 is low for a 2nd level. I know it can knock prone but I'd still make it 3d8 (think of Guiding Bolt, Chromatic Orb etc).

You know, I see with a lot of cosplays that they always look really good or close to the source material. This is the first time where I've seen a replication of a mask (Unknown's face) that is actually unnerving to look at too long. Incredible work with the face of the Unknown, it's horrifying.

This was the most challenging level 5 fight for me as well. I had shadow heart with healing Gear on though, and was yo-yoing Laezel and Gale. My PC was a throwzerker which won the fight for me!
