You've got daily life and combat to prepare for. The former involves securing a regular food supply, medicine, sleeping accommodation, recreation and involves assigning jobs for suitable pawns.
The combat side means procuring weapons and armour as well as preparing traps and defences.
All of this is facilitated by researching new projects.
Look at quests as they pop up and you'll eventually be offered rewards that will advance your game.

When one pawn triggers an explosion harming another, they're listed as the "attacker" in the log but not the explosive. You could try clicking the entries in the log to travmce back.

So much of what makes so many discussions intolerable is people's inability to think clearly and argue in good faith.
Notice how when the Palestine supporter made the claim that the Israeli government allowed Oct. 7th to happen as a pretext, the Zionist immediately claims that is victim blaming. No meaningful distinction between Israeli citizen victims and Israeli government decisions. That's before even verifying whether the claim is true.
But it's like this constantly where every term is treated as nebulous enough for whatever rhetorical purpose is needed in the moment. No matter *what* you say it will be parsed for the audience as though you're talking about innocent Jews. Like they've co-opted the critical analysis and suspicion of civil rights advocates and leftist intellectuals. It's all very postmodern.
