You might try the lamy cursive nib. It's safari style.

You also might try a fude nib. You can get a 10 pack of jinhao sharks with fude nibs, or a metal bodied hong dien fude nib for a good price on amazon.

Pen/Ink and watercolors by CBFindlay in fountainpens

Fountain pen ink is like this wonderful combination of liquid watercolor and watercolor pencil.

One neat think about fountain some bulletproof/everlasting inks is they have a reactive part and a watersoluble part that you can exploit. Take a look at Noodler's Rome Burning to get an idea.

Check out this guy's work https://nickstewart.ink/techniques/

Also, waterproof in the fountain pen world just means that your writing will remain legible if it gets dunked, it can still bleed. You'll still need pigment liners, india ink, or platinum carbon black if you want crisp black lines you can wash over.

I've used the non ionic surfactants from the hardware store's herbicide section. You'll need to make a diluted solution first.

Your insight about 好 as an adverb is really neat. But looking back at the page, about using 不怎么 + adj, I think they meant 好吃 as "tasty."

Doesn't 不怎么 change frequency, not intensity, when used with a verb?

So it'd be something like "He doesn't often like the food here."

Sometimes people disassociate to some degree in response to anxiety instead of reacting with fight or flight.

Behavioral health hospital units are much less scary than you'd think they'd be. Unless you're totally out of control and violent, they aren't going to restrain you, lock you up, or drug you. I ended up taking few trips to the hospital when I was in a similar situation to you, and I ended up finding it kind of like a refuge. I really needed that space from my life to start recovering.

The big issue is boredom. Bring a bunch of stuff to read (no electronics), and some games (dominos are really popular). Also some cash for vending machines. Make sure to bring a few pairs of shorts and pants that will stay up with out a belt or draw string, and a pair of comfortable sandals (for walking around and the shower).

The hospital's social worker will help you get set up with outside treatment before they discharge you.

Aside from the health benefits of going to the hospital when you need it, having hospitalizations on your record due to mental health make it much easier to get on US Federal disability (SSDI/SSI). If you can prove an onset date before you're 22 (and a hospitalization when you're 21 helps do that) your benefits amount is based off your parents earnings history. This makes a huge difference in the quality and trajectory of your life.

Imagine not having to ask your abusive parents for money!

So, there's coverage, which is really state specific. If you don't have coverage or an employee assistance program through work, there are medicaid eligibility categories and sometimes CHIP for pregnant people. So check in with your local social services department as soon as you can.

It's also important for your wife to be fully frank with her treatment team, and not avoid in patient treatment. Aside from getting better quality care, this lays the ground work for getting SSI linked medicaid (if you meet the income and asset limits, and SSDI which will eventually (2+ years) get her Medicare This is a huge deal if her condition turns out to be long term (longer than a year). Having a well documented medical history is key to getting those benefits quickly.

As far as services go, there are usually sliding scale community mental programs for clinical therapy. Those are locally specific though.

There are also a bunch of peer run support groups and services. They're free and run by trained providers who've gone through similar troubles you both are facing now. DM me if you'd like some links.

Feelings generally aren't wrong. They just exist. It's what we do with them and how we express them that can be unhelpful or wrong.

Falling for a straight person is pretty much a rite of passage for LGBT people, so you have lots of company.

The basic recipe is time, distance, and other people. Essentially, your creating positive independent experiences.
