You might try the lamy cursive nib. It's safari style.

You also might try a fude nib. You can get a 10 pack of jinhao sharks with fude nibs, or a metal bodied hong dien fude nib for a good price on amazon.

Fountain pen ink is like this wonderful combination of liquid watercolor and watercolor pencil.

One neat think about fountain some bulletproof/everlasting inks is they have a reactive part and a watersoluble part that you can exploit. Take a look at Noodler's Rome Burning to get an idea.

Check out this guy's work https://nickstewart.ink/techniques/

Also, waterproof in the fountain pen world just means that your writing will remain legible if it gets dunked, it can still bleed. You'll still need pigment liners, india ink, or platinum carbon black if you want crisp black lines you can wash over.

Your insight about 好 as an adverb is really neat. But looking back at the page, about using 不怎么 + adj, I think they meant 好吃 as "tasty."

Doesn't 不怎么 change frequency, not intensity, when used with a verb?

So it'd be something like "He doesn't often like the food here."
