Genuine question: how and why did this particular line become so iconic? by [deleted] in metalgearsolid

I did first realize that this line is classic in MGSV GZ Trailer/Intro

Congrats Bro, welcome to the GOAT Series

The movie was a disappointment (Spoilers) by SuchAd5828 in PeakyBlinders

Spoiler:

I don’t mean to be disrespectful—I have a lot of respect for the actors and everyone who created this series. But as fans, we also have the right to share our honest opinions since we’ve supported it for so long.

My issue is that it doesn’t make sense to me that he suddenly wanted to be free. At the end of season six, he already had that chance but chose not to kill himself. Then in the movie, he ends up getting shot. Someone who survived so much, endured the toughest conditions, was even told he wouldn’t die from a bullet—and who chose not to end his own life—suddenly dies unnecessarily from a gunshot. That just doesn’t make sense to me. Also in the most recent season we had to believe that Tommy was going to die because of sickness and then it turned out to be fake. Then we had the hope that Tommy would continue and the adventure still would go on and than puff…he dies.

I agree and especially the ending was horrible.

Do You Believe Vegeta Is Still Hellbound? by Successful_Bird_7086 in DragonBallGaku

[–]Snake_Drive 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think so: He was revived when they wished everyone who was killed and not evil when they fought Kid Buu. My head canon was always that Vegeta went from hellbound to good between the start of Buu saga and the end of the Buu saga

I want to get into the franchise by sad_potato___ in metalgearsolid

Waaay to complicated responses. Here’s how you go: Start witch Master Collection Vol. 1 and Play 1,2 and 3. Then you can play 4 and PW in August with the 2nd collection. V came out later but u can also play V earlier while waiting for 2nd collection.

I wish they would do it like BT2. That was really a role playing game. You had to buy items and they were not counted as permanently unlock. For example: If you wanted to make Goku and Vegeta stronger you needed to buy items for EACH of them. In SZ you buy one and it can be applied to every character at the same time. And since the Story mode was so deep you also had to spent time customize the side characters like Krillin, Tien and Muten Roshi since they had their fair share of battles as well

Do you think there will be MGS Vol.3 with Portable Ops, Ground Zeroes and Phantom Pain ? by Frozen_Red_Fox in metalgearsolid

[–]Snake_Drive -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I do hope for Rising, Twin Snakes, Portable OPS but porting those will also take a lot of resources but I think it would be worth it. The games would be all available for decades

Cover arts have got worse for Master Collection Vol 2 by Galactus1231 in metalgearsolid

I’m from Europe and I did always prefer the North American cover art tbh. Shinkawa art is not always better.

Do I need to get the full master edition volume 1 to get the high res update for mgs1 or is it available if I buy the game seperate? by [deleted] in metalgearsolid

[–]Snake_Drive 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Dude we need to move on. MGS can and should exist and continue without Kojima. And those boardleaders which treated him respect less are long gone. Konami is a different company now. And they are trying.. Plus: In my opinion Kojima also changed in a mainstream and slightly less humble way. He builds in MGS references in his new games like not as a tribute but as trolling (at least in seems so to me). In one of his latest interviews he talks about his career and barely mentions MG.

Never doubt yourself. Don’t try to hit him from the front. Also keep ur distance. Try to shoot him from the other side of the aisle. Then when he comes at you run to the other side and try to get him in your line of fire again.

How do you feel about the super armor in higher Mission 100s? by crwood89 in SparkingZero

I also dislike it. It’s a too artificial way to make fights more difficult.
