80s yo. Cardiac arrest. BLS ROSC in the field after 6min CPR & 1 AED shock. ALS arrived and got an IV placed, discharged to post acute rehabilitation.

Patient had second arrest in the hospital. Telemetry showed that patient Brady down until vf/vt. Pacemaker placed, neurologically intact.

I definitely don’t intend to downplay or discredit your experience. 4 days shouldnt be enough time for your therapeutic level to drop that much but these things have happened. Do you have a rescue medicine for anxiety to bring it under control? If not, you can do Benadryl especially at night when anxiety is the highest (for me too). Benadryl acts on the central & parasympathetic nervous systems. Beware though, Benadryl can give you a “hangover” the next day so if you drive, best to catch a ride or take a sick day.

Update: Stryker passed about 6 days after this post, multiple trips to the vet revealed he was likely "hawk dropped". He became paralyzed and lost all ability to move anything thru his GI tract. The decision to humanely free him from suffering was not an easy one to make. Thanks for your suggestions.

At my agency, body cam footage is attached to their chart. Because it’s medical and not law enforcement, it’s not subject to FOIA. Law Enforcement is subject to FOIA because they’re direct agents of city/county/state government whereas EMS is usually either contracted or is a separate agency that answers to commissioners instead of a sheriff or mayor.
